Kingsland Meats — Local services in St. Marys

Florida deer hunters beware. This is the absolute worst place to bring a deer to be processed. They have been repeatedly told that any deer harvested outside of Florida cannot be brought into Florida unless it has been deboned. Tonight I brought out a package labeled deer steak. After it was defrosted, my wife looked at it and said " what am I supposed to do with this mess"? I could hardly believe my eyes. It looked like a 6 year old had run the hind quarter through a band saw after the meat had been removed! It was 2 lbs of bone fragments with small pieces of steak attached. Unbelievable! I don't know how many other deer hunters have had similar experiences with Kingsland Meats but if you have, please share your story. I'm not out to harm anyones business but I believe that CWD is serious and we should obey the law by not bringing deer into Florida unless...

Well Loved going to this place every month to stock up on meats....always had fresh, good looking meat on everything we got. But that Loved is past tense for a reason. unfortunately, the last 2 times we have been here we have gotten some packaged bacon (different brands each time) that is some other unheard of brands instead of their own cut bacon like we were getting. This last time ALL and I mean ALL (5 packages with 5 burgers in each) of the hamburgers that we had gotten are freezer burnt and greyish brown in color. They look like spoiled meat. I love Kingsland meat because you know exactly what you're getting and how much you're paying for; no guessing. I love the 5 for $20 deals, they are all over the store! Great little bundt cakes for a quick dessert to bring over to a friend's house, all flavors are amazing!
