I wish to give Nick Tisdale and his employees a 5 star rating for the work and help they did for me. I was in the advertising business a long time and it is rare that you get such special service. I am retired and had an old G5 Apple computer I bought back in 2002. This was before Apple changed their system to Intel. My old G5 kept bombing and it was obvious that it was too old to fix. They tried several times and got it working for the moment, but it was a doomed endeavor. So, I went to the Apple Store and bought a brand new iMac. They told me at the Apple Store I would have no problems with my old software programs as long as I had the Time Machine. Wrong. First, I took the new iMac back. Then I took my problem back to RepairIT and told them my problem. My solution was to buy a used, but newer than mine, iMac from them. Then they went to work and used my Time Machine info to copy onto an another older computer, and then onto my new purchase. Don't ask me how they truly did it. I don't have a clue. But, when I picked it up, I had all the programs I needed and a working computer as well. I will be forever grateful for their help. Read moreI dropped my phone on my closed MacBook which completely broke the screen. I took it to an Apple store and they told me it would be close to $900.00 to replace the screen. I have had this laptop for less than 6 months, so I was completely bummed. I stumbled across Thumbtack looking for a cheaper alternative and found Nick at Repair IT. He quoted me before even walking into the store just by asking for my laptop serial number. He then ordered the new screen, and told me he would let me know when it arrived. This past Monday, I stressed to him that I needed it back no later than Wednesday morning for a business trip (at this point, the new screen has not even arrived yet). He told me that once the part arrived he would need 1 hour to complete the work, so the Wednesday turnaround time should not be a problem. Sure enough, I dropped it off Tuesday around 2:30 and was back to pick it up around 4:00 on Tuesday. I was completely shocked when Nick called to tell me it was ready. So then I decided would contact the company who I had purchased the Laptop with to see if they could help. Unfortunately after about 20 minutes of trying to explain to the representative what was wrong and a lack of their understanding I ended the conversation and began reviewing local companies that could help me.
