Stop with the common food court options..you won't regret trying here. We stumbled upon this while browsing through the Food Court while on the wait list for Cheesecake Factory. We don't frequent the mall...but this restaurant is the reason to come. Subsequently, we cancelled our wait and we're pleasantly happy.
We got the potato covered corn dog with half sausage and half cheese, and a bowl of freshly made ramen made specifically mild. After a short wait, I was surprised by the wide variety of options for the sauce topping for the corn dog and the special box which allows you to perfectly carry it. There is something for everyone!
The non-greasy traditional Korean corn dog has set a new standard versus what we traditionally are used to. Each bite alternating between the perfectly melted gooey cheese and sausage brought a thick smile on my face.
The ramen held up on its own with a perfectly fried egg and a delectable broth. Nothing was left in the bowl. Do not pass this place up.
Overall, we have a reason to come to the mall, and it's not for shopping. Perfect food, and perfect experience. Louisville needs more options like this authentic...
Read moreMy son ordered the ramen and I ordered the bbq chicken rice bowl. I wasn’t super impressed with mine. It wasn’t bad but not great either, kind of bland for Korean bbq. Huge portion, but for $12, I would hope so. My son’s original ramen was pretty spicy, I think they may have haven him spice ramen by mistake. It was good though. However, when the lady handed it to me over the counter, the lid wasn’t on all the way and it spilled down my shirt. She said nothing while I cleaned my self up with napkins. I took my kids to a table and checked myself thoroughly and discovered mild burns down my chest and stomach. I told the ladies at the counter and they apologized but then walked away. No offer for a refund, no coupon, or any kind of offer to make it right. They likely ruined my shirt and I’m still hurting from the burns. This is just horrible service. Very...
Read moreThis is an authentic Korean-style street food restaurant run by Koreans. I tried the original Korean sausage, and it was soft and flavorful. Tteokbokki is usually spicy, but this one was a bit sweet. The kimbap was above average. You should try it if you feel hungry while shopping in the mall. Strongly Recommended. -Addition- The restaurant added a new menu item, which prompted me to edit my review. The mixed grain powder bingsu was my favorite bingsu and I was surprised to find it here in Louisville Kentucky. I can highly recommend the other...
