It is the second night of their opening and granted, I understand the adjustments they need to make in the midst of their opening. First, I suggested moving the ping pong table back further away from the tables, and the gentleman at the bar said āitās our second night.ā After I said that the game I just had, easily Could of hit the newborn sitting next to the table area.
As a CSR for over 10years, my response would never be an excuse, rather an appreciation and a solution. The ping pong table was literally 2feet away from a baby.
I thought that was the icing on the cake but the icing on the cake was when they sold use beer that was expired in April of this year. I donāt write reviews. I truly donāt. However, the hospitality of this bartender was not what I thought it would be, and it was truly uncalled for since this is the nĆ©e āupcoming place of Stamford.ā The town Iāve grown up in when this specific part was a patch of dirt.
They THEN tell you to head towards the back, where there is an āoutsideā sitting area. Now this is fun because you hit a pretty much section 8, and there is nothing wrong with that other than being misguided toward an outdoor experience that legit has no arrows or path other than fend for yourself, figure it out yourself type of vibe. Once youāre lost in this parking lot , you wander around until you see a food truck 40yards away which I have to admit has amazing food. This was the one star I gave it, because the food from that truck was absolutely amazing , so kuddos to that.
Not sure who told these people how to run a business but they could of done better. They could of absolutely done better and treated people a little better with the suggestions brought to hand. Yet they didnāt like the suggestion , nor give people beer that is up to date. I was born in this town and have seen it grown into its potential but something like this, should not be allowed which is why I needed to leave a thorough comment. Especially in a part of town that is not usually a safe part of town but an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited Half Brewery in Stamford, CT for the Chopt Cheese pop-up event, and let me tell you, it was amazing! As soon as I walked in, I felt the good vibes and welcoming atmosphere. The place was buzzing with excitement, and it was clear that people come to Half Brewery not just for the beer, but for the community.
Speaking of beer, Half Brewery offers a fantastic range of craft brews that are sure to satisfy any beer lover's taste buds. Whether you're into IPAs or Lagerās, there's something for everyone on the menu. And let me tell you, the quality and variety of the beer is top-notch.
But what really impressed me about Half Brewery was the family-friendly vibe. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming, and there was a real sense of camaraderie among the patrons. And of course, the Chopt Cheese pop-up event was the icing on the cake. The pairing of Half Brewery's beer with Chopt Cheeseās delicious sandwiches and fries was a match made in heaven!
All in all, I would highly recommend checking out Half Brewery if you're ever in the Stamford area. It's a great spot to grab a drink, catch up with friends, and soak up the good vibes. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for a fun night out, Half Brewery is the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHighly recommended spot to gather with friends or plan a date night! I recently went to half full this weekend to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday with a group of 10 and had a great time!
Our waitress and the staff made sure we were well taken care of, we always had our drinks on hand, quick service, polite staff, and they really went above and beyond to make sure our group was having a good time. I had reached out in advance to reserve a table and everything was ready by the time we arrived. Wide variety of beers, cocktails, and fun brews. There were some really different and fun drinks here to be had!
There is both outdoor and indoor seating. Indoor you can have a max of four people per table and outdoor is five to six per table. We did outdoor and experienced great service, drinks, and a fun food truck.
Couldn't recommended this place more. They opened over the Summer. During this crazy covid world I can share that we felt safe, staff wore masks, tables were distanced and the teams took proper precautions. They are expanding too which is exciting!
For food there is usually a good truck on site. We had The Taco Guy which had some really yummy tacos.
Can't wait to return! Thanks Jenna,...
