I dont leave a lot of reviews, but I really loved this place when it opened, and now not so much. The pricing structure and deal days at Catalyst are the best in the industry, and Catalyst is my favorite chain to shop at.
With that being said, the customer service in this location is lacking compared to other Catalyst locations. From blasé seemingly unenthused front desk staff to curt (maybe stressed?) tending associates with attitude.
Additionally, I always feel rushed here, and one can not walk up to look at the case selection without first getting in line and being called up by a tender.
Associates encourage you to first check the menu online saying "its always up to date" yet it's not. Not all items are updated/displayed on the online or in store menus all the time. For example, the online menu during past visits not listing "recently arrived" Coldfire flavors I viewed when I went in person at the store. Was unable to view the full selection on hand in the store until standing there at the counter with an associate.
There seems to be a lot of foot traffic here. Being in retail myself, I empathize and understand it's probably a difficult location to operate. Very popular, rather small, and likely with limited staff. With usually only two tending associates working the front during a rush, when there is a wait, the wait is very long, and the attitude of staff and vibe of the location overall is frequently low busy or not. (With the exception of one associate, think his name is Matt? Tall thin guy with long brown hair. Always a very nice guy, and always very helpful.)
This is the most convenient Catalyst location distance wise to me, but it is due to recent & past experiences I find myself more and more wanting to just go order delivery at home instead of visiting this location on my drive home from work.

Read moreI came in the day before thanksgiving to see what deals catalyst had for Black Friday. I picked up 2 muha meds rosin disposables. When I got home to try them I noticed the disposable looked really shifty & was not the right hardware for the items I purchased. I called MuhaMeds described what was sold to me and was firmly and sternly told,” GO BRING THEM BACK, our product will have our double “M” logo on them, either a sticker or printed of what flavor the item is and a California law sticker on them. So I call the catalyst and told them I believe I was sold fake product, they said come back and we will be glad to assist you.
Once I got there I was told the manager was going to reach out to muha meds and they will get my contact info down and let me know about a possible return. I said no, I want my money back & we can forget about all of this.
This is what makes me realize the dispensary is at fault. When the manager opens the packing to see what’s inside I see her close her eyes & when she opens them her eyes are lower than when she blinked lowering her head, my instincts told me she knew what she was looking at & she seemed very guilty. I was not at all accused of replacing anything in the packaging but was accused of pretending I knew someone at muha meds just to say they’re fake. Read moreTERRIBLE customer service from start to finish and to have it on LOYALTY day is even crazier. I usually go to santa ana cause they NEVER disappoint at that location but I just moved literally around the corner from this location and regret even spending any money here. The asian girl that helped me was useless with suggestions and her recommendations were useless cause EVERY question I had EVERY time she answered was "everyone's different" and my questions weren't even complex!!! Ugh! Worst part is I came here to try and alleviate some grief from my grandmother passing two days after my BIRTHDAY smfh!!! Lets also not forget when i called about an item on their website it wasnt working on there or weedmaps to place it so i called them and the girl in the front started having a conversation IN the middle of OUR conversation when i was trying to get help and then she hung up on me abruptly. I'd drive that extra 20 minutes to Santa Ana before ever coming here again!!!!!
UPDATE: GO TO CULTURE CANNABIS NEXT DOOR!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better deals, customer service and they care about their customers!!! Better weed too!!!
