Terrible service. Apple should be embarrassed to call them a certified service center. I had problem with my macbook screen where a small crack that appeared after only 3 months of very light use with my computer and apple phone support told me to go to Connecting Point. After telling the "Certified Technician" (if you could call him that) this he quickly told me it was not covered under warranty. I informed him that the apple specialist on the phone (which was one of the best and most knowledgable I have ever dealt with) told me that it shouldn't be a problem if I took it to a service center to have it looked at. His response to hearing this was "Then the person you had on the phone was an idiot" and quickly told me I would have to pay for the fix clearly trying to just get the business. I know apple doesn't have control over how the service centers conduct themselves in regards to customer service but I think they should at least audit the service and penalize the terrible places like this one if they are going to recommend them by name for service on their website and over the phone. It seemed that every other person in front of me in line had an equally bad experience and I would not recommend that anyone waste their time going here and just wait until they can make it to an actual apple store where there are knowledgable technicians who are not just out to try to make money.
11/14/15 EDIT. You stated in your response that it was not in the "guidelines" for repair from apple but as I stated in my original review, you never even looked at my computer to decide that. After taking it to apple they did indeed replace the screen under warranty with no problem agreeing that it was a...
Read moreThe first 2 times i tried to write this review, it was comprehensive and fair. But since my laptop shut down twice while writing it, this time I will be brief and harsh.
I paid $90 for me to explain all my computer problems to a man 3 years past retirement and in the end he played a video to "get my computer to work hard" for 5 hours and then said "welp, I couldn't reproduce your problem. So sorry, you still need to pay $90 that we invoiced you."
I am a college student studying data science, who has built her own computer and is technologically proficient. I would run a better computer repair shop. When I asked for my laptop back, I asked if he checked the error codes of the over 100 shut downs. "No, what are those codes and where are they?" Yeah. never again. They know nothing about computers, but can maybe do basic phone repair. Save your money and your time. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions about my...

I would rate them 0 stars if we could. We had a water damaged phone. They said they would send it off and we would get it back in 1-2 weeks (if the company could fix it - if not, they would send it back right away). Two months (yes, months) later, we received the phone back. The speaker doesn't work, essentially making the phone an expensive paperweight. On top of it, their customer service is horrible. I would avoid them if at all possible. They are no longer authorized for iPhone repair - likely because of their service. We're taking the phone back for repairs and will update if necessary.
UPDATE: It is now August. Still no phone. Front desk says the owner is dealing with the service tech. Owner will not return any calls. No idea of the status of the repair. They have had the phone since April and still no update (it is now August). For what was supposed to be a 1-2...
