I love this place! I just moved to State College and was thrilled to find such a fine Indian Restaurant! The food is always fresh and has great flavour! I have enjoyed Saag Paneer (my personal favourite), Aloo Gobi, Chili Gobi, Butter Chicken, Bindi Masala and more! All is spiced and flavoured exquisitely. When first approached the waiter will bring delicious pappadums with two dipping sauces, do try them you will not be disappointed! The manager is extremely unprofessional. I was offered a seat when I walked in. I went up to grab my plate of food and turned back to see that my seat was taken. The manager then offered me another seat that was yet to be cleaned. I was kept waiting with my food plate in hand while the manager was busy dealing with other people. Frustrated at the situation I took a seat in the next table that looked clean. After that the manager came back and started cleaning the other table that he offered me the second time. Last summer while attending the Arts Festival, we were looking for a vegan-friendly place for lunch and we hit the jackpot! We are from the Washington DC area, and have many fine Indian restaruants to choose from, but this place was as good a expericence as any of them! Maybe not "fine dining", but the food was excellent- custom prepared by the lady chef, who added to the satisfying experience by spending time talking, educating and sharing stories with us!
