On Monday, October 10, 2022 I had a great experience in the printing department at the Statesboro, GA Office Depot location. I had called late morning to see if I would be able to have some information and forms printed at the store due to my personal printer not working last minute. I needed the printing to be done in time for a 5:00p.m. meeting. I was told by the associate at the time of my call that getting my order done depended on how many orders were ahead of mine when I arrived. I was also informed that unless I brought my order in before 2:00p.m., the order would not be available until the next day. I told the associate on the phone that would not be of help to me sinceI would not be able to get there until around 4:00p.m. She then informed me that there were two independent work stations, but they’re availability may be limited. Well, I decided to take a chance on one of the independent work stations. When I arrived at 3:55p.m., the associate working in the printing department (was not the one that I had spoken to over the phone) directed me to an independent work station. The work station had to be restarted. Upon seeing this and knowing that it would take awhile to do so, she immediately told me that she could print the work for me. I showed her what needed to be printed from my jump drive, and she did the job and checked me out in less than ten minutes. I was more than pleased with my experience with the printing department. On top of everything, this associate’s customer service skills went above and beyond the customer service skills of the associate who spoke to me over the phone that morning. Read moreThis town is getting worse! I come here 1x per month to make Large Blueprints for 13 yrs. 3rd recent visit I have been treated poorly by the printing staff for "no reason". Today 7.14.22 @ 11:46 the girl in this dept (no name tag) was very rude - I said the largest BluPrint size, and she asked me 3x for the size rudely, and I kept giving her the same answer and pointed at the correct machine 3x? no please or thank you, no smiles. Would not allow me to properly view PC screen to guide on correct prints, forced me to pay before job completion, errors in prints, yelled at me from across the department in front of customers for looking at printer to be sure it was the correct print. Where is the Owner to check on this franchise/staff, and where are all the name-tags? I will be going elsewhere from now on. I HAVE HAD IT WITH THIS STORE! Very, very...
