Honestly the worst shopping experience I have ever had. The employees non stop follow you around as if you’re shop lifting. I went in on two occasions this week. One time I was asked by the same girl over 6 times if I needed a fitting room, no I do not need a fitting room. Being asked that many times was absolutely ridiculous. It frustrated me. The second experience was on Monday. The young lady followed me around again. I had an exchange so I left my bag up front with them so they did not eye ball me like they usually do. I had ONE pair of pants in my hand and the girl asked me if I wanted a fitting room, I stayed no. She then proceeded to ask me if she could hold my item up front. I have never been asked that here, but it made me feel like she was assuming I’d steal when I have money to buy what I want. I’m not so low to steal. I have shopped here off and on for years. I am no longer a student at GSU. I recently visited Statesboro several times in the past few weeks. I bought about $70 worth last week and $40 a month ago. I was in the boro today, wearing a dress I purchased a week ago, wearing it for the first time. As I was walking to cheeky’s to shop again, my friend noticed the strap broke on my brand new dress from there. I spoke with the manager on duty and she told me since I was wearing the dress she could not do anything about it. She told me the only way she could do anything about the dress was if I came in next week with the tags and receipt. I do not have the receipt or tags, I wasn’t planning on the dress breaking and me having to return it. I told her you do realize this is very poor quality clothing and she turned and walked off. This store is sheek and definitely has clothes for an acquired taste. Some of the fabric the clothes are made from is like a thick cloth. They do have some beautiful pieces if that's your style. To me, it's a store for like college girls; which most of the customers in the store that day were full of. My friend who has just beaten cancer, went there to find something pink for an event she had to speak at, and when we arrived in the store neither one of us were greeted or helped, and we walked all around the store for a while, since it was our first time there. The customers that were in the store were a llittle rude too, knocking shoulders with u without even saying, "Excuse me" at all!
