They took in two rings from me to be repaired. AFTER TWO EMPLOYEES EVALUATED THEM TO BE that is. OF COURSE I had to pay in advance for the repairs. After a week of having the rings, I get a call stating that the repairs can't be made and my rings will be returned and I will be refunded. When I get there the two rings are different sizes. They couldn't do the repair, but resized one of them....REALLY? They then say they will have to MAIL ME A CHECK because they don't get keep $200 in the drawer. This whole adventure started 3 weeks ago. I've waited a bit too long to be refunded in my opinion. I was told it would be up to a week for the check to arrive. Today when I called they told me it could be 30 days........30 days to get a refund for something I Immediately paid for with cash... "For safety reasons we don't keep that much cash in the drawer." Lol, so if someone comes in to rob the place, does the hundred-thousand dollars in inventory go hide somewhere? I have always went to Kay's for everything involving jewelry. That will NEVER happen again. Tell people it will be a month if it will be a month. Don't say you will get it within a week just to get me out of the store. Never again....I can't wait for one of their responses on here. NOBODY IN THAT LOCATION KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON. JC Penney is currently taking care of the rings and CAN do the repairs for almost less than half the cost of Kay's. Thanks for the...
Read moreMy first experience with Kay's was awful. I received this beautiful ring from my boyfriend for Christmas only to put it on and realize the side of the ring had two very large scrapes on the side. I was surprised that there wouldn't be some sort of quality check done prior to the ring being ready for purchase. I took the receipt and the ring back to the store hoping to exchange it but when I went into the store there were about 15 people waiting and only two clerks working. I waited for about 10 mins and realized things were moving slowly and decided to come another day. The second time I went back was today and again, over crowded store and only two clerks. There was no system to identify who was next and 3 customers were helped before me. When I was finally helped I was told that the store was short staffed and she apologized. Due to the quality of the product I received and the poor customer service I will not be a...
Read moreThe absolute worst customer service that I have experienced in a very long time. My experience today was utter trash, and I'm not exaggerating. I was there to trade up on some jewelry, so instead of explaining to me, that's not a thing. The sales rep was extremely rude and even suggested I regift the jewelry. Customer service is the support you offer your customers — both before and after they buy and use your products or services — that helps them have an easy and enjoyable experience with you.
