Limited pizza selection at tonight's buffet. Just the basics were out. I don't usually have to request a supreme type pizza because the Clinton location always has something like that out. Salad was shredded lettuce or overdressed strawberry salad. I wish there were undressed mixed greens as well. It seemed pretty slow when I got there but there were at least 6-8 dirty tables when I walked in so we had to take a table towards the back. Game room attendant was super nice once she was there. Several children in the game room so not sure why someone couldn't just stay there, especially since actual eaters at that point were like 6 people in the whole place. Overall, it was okay. Nothing special. Food was quick and hot, which is what we needed.
UPDATE: I keep going back because it's quick and hot food but every.darn.time they are disappointing. First of all, prices are increased so me, my husband, and a ten year old were almost $50. Then, we get to the salad bar (the only reason we chose this place today) and the lettuce in both bins was BROWN. Not like just a piece or two brown... Like ALL the lettuce in both bins was BROWN on all edges. It was so disgusting and gross. It was absolutely appalling. Luckily, an associate heard my very loud gasp and they did replace the lettuce but... How did that even get past the kitchen...
Read moreJuly 8, 2025 11:00 AM Do to illness it has been about 10 weeks since we have been able to visit Pizza Ranch. The Christian music is still there, but it was disappointing to see changes in the salad bar. I was told the soup is now permanently gone because of cost. This has long been a staple on the salad bar. There was obviously little attention paid to supplies at the table we were at. I cannot speak for other tables. The napkin holder was all but empty so I had to get a napkin holder from another table so my wife could reach the napkins. The top of the holder was dusty and had food on it that was messy enough to stick to your fingers when trying to get a napkin.
Although there were disappointments in the visit I do need to give credit where credit is due. The server was doing a great job keeping up and had a very friendly outgoing personality.
10 Months ago I have looked for where I can send a review other than from the link on the receipt. Guess I am pretty slow not to think of going to your website. Just wanted to thank you Mat for returning some Christian music to the restaurant. We have been a customer since you opened and we are glad to see things slowly coming back to pre-pandemic...
Read moreGreat service here. Scott, the manager, is always there to help out his staff.
Staff is very friendly and attentive. Although they are typically younger, they have enthusiasm for the job.
Food is typical of this chain. If it's not busy, from my experience, the food does seem to taste less fresh. That goes double for the fried chicken. As me and my wife were both short order cooks for many years in our youth, we both have used the term double dipped to describe it. It tastes like it was dropped again in the fryer to reheat it. Just our opinion.
The salad bar is great, and included in the price.
At the time of this review, kids (up to and including age 12) eat free on Tuesdays, one free child admission per adult full price dinner.
Desserts are going to be a real treat, if you like "pizza cake". They call out cactus bread, and a few other things that escape me at the moment. If you don't care for it, they have ice cream as well. Vanilla only at the Sterling location. No toppings whatsoever. He have smuggled in chocolate syrup, and it made dessert much more enjoyable for our family.
Overall, a great bang...
