Sihk east Indians are overwhelming fair and nice but not these owners - they are the exception. Each pet supplie plus store is independently owned. You will notice that none of the reviews speak about returns, only how they love to buy things there. These owners will bend over backwards to ring you up for anything you want to BUY. THATS WHERE IT ENDS. They are extremely expensive. They never have sales like the other pet supplies plus stores. They will take your money and if your kitty or dog has a problem with the food, toy, etc that you purchased these owners will tell you that they do not return or exchange anything that has been opened. VERY NASTY AND ARROGANT PEOPLE HERE. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR PET. THEY CARE ABOUT SALES. They're making lots of money due to their location. The owner manager told us he didnt care if we write a review, so here it is. We took the rejected return to the Ashburn pet supplies plus store and the regional manager, Claire, did not hesitate to provide a store credit for the full value of the half used bag of cat food even though we bought it at the Sterling store originally. The food (dr. Marty's) made our little cat sick to the point where our kitty was vomiting after every meal and only weighed 6 lbs. so we had to stop feeding it to her. We switched to blue buffalo "sensitive stomach" food and all is well. She gained 2 lbs and no more vomiting. Still we didnt want to loose 35 dollars on the Dr Marty food. These guys at sterling are horrible to customers and we've never experienced a pet food store that will not return or exchange pet food when it makes your animal sick or when they dont like it. What happens if you get a defective product? The owner said coldly, "we do not take returns on opened items, period". I then responded saying cant you get your money back from the manufacturer of the food, etc, dr marty's stands behind there food? The owner said, "no, you can call dr marty on your own." I was shocked. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND this sterling business because they dont care about animals. They care about getting wealthy at the community's expense. Stay away. Support a place where fur babies are loved and cherished and you dont lose money when your pet "supply" doesn't work out for your pet. Ashburn saved the day, which made us very relieved and happy. No customer wants to be treated in such a horrible fashion. The mask comes down on these owners once you have a problem. They will leave you abandoned and keep your money. Smh. Support loyal business people who...

The level of care, consideration, knowledge, and delicate handling of the pets in the store is so far beyond any expectation that I couldāve had! He quite literally made one of my daughterās dreams come true by approaching myself and my little girl and offering to let her pet the ferrets and turtles and geckos she was falling in love with..without us asking and by his own attentiveness to the situation in the store. It was one of the sweetest experiences Iāve ever had as a father, she had tears of joy, no exaggeration. Such a small action, that Iām sure is part of his job, was delivered in such a tailored fashion to our situation, and he was so present for my family. It doesnāt have to be so personal and polite and is never expected these days, but Rommy was so personable and has made us feel incredibly welcome-and has turned us into a customer for life!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExcellent service, Great prices, Great deals. I wash my dog at Pet Supplies Plus in Sterling, VA, every week for $8 per wash. It is the cheapest self-wash service in the area. I looked around. There is no place that is cheaper or in the same price range. They also have excellent deals if you buy in bulk and coupons that they will mail to you. For the self-wash service, they provide choices on shampoos and towels. My dog likes the blow dryer. As summer heats up, it is a great way to keep your pet smelling great and enjoying summer outdoor fun. For my children's lizard, the staff provide training when asked. When I asked about the temperature for bathing the lizard, the guy took out a cup of water and let me learn the temperature. He explained the depth and duration to bathe my children's lizard and the frequency. They also explained different types of products and alternatives for food choices. Such an awesome store. Love...
