I would just like to say, it says you do curbside on here, but it seems to be an issue every single time we call and ask for it. I’m not sure if it is the same employee that is being somewhat difficult or what, I think it possibly is. Every time we’ve spoken to a male they have been more than helpful. But a female, again not sure if it’s the same one, has made comments. One brought it out to us and said “didn’t want to come inside eh?” Other times they’ve said “you know our dining room is open.” Another time we called and paid, and when we arrived a female told us we had to come in they DIDN’T bring it to the car, even though we were assured that they did when we had ordered it, but then a male brought it out to us without questioning it. And the last time, we heard a female say in the background on the phone “well I’m not taking it out there.” This attitude has prevented us from ordering here multiple times, we don’t enjoy ordering here anymore because of it. Not only is curbside a good thing to offer due to covid, but I have a somewhat rare severe medical problem that prevents me or anyone that is in the car with me from going inside of establishments so this was the only way I could ever get food from here and was sooo glad when I saw on here that they finally offered it.... only to be met with a snarky attitude or suggestions that we come inside just about every time. Really disappointing. We continue to order here because we like the food and because most of the staff are very helpful and nice, but we don’t enjoy the process at all because we never know what comments are going to be made or if we’re going to be told one thing and then another when we get there. So if you don’t really want to offer curbside, please take it off of here and we will just stop coming...
Read moreFood is great, deserves 5 stars for flavor. Service however is lacking. I have never once had a good experience with the staff at this particular location, seems they're hiring college kids who don't care about actually doing their jobs and just think they deserve to be paid to stand around talking to their friends. Have gone twice to this location, both times had to track down a waitress/waiter myself as I guess social skills don't get taught to kids anymore and they were just walking past our table without acknowledging us at all- On each trip this included our would-be server, too! First time I was there we were treated to hearing some young girl loudly quit or be fired during the shift, which happened to be our waitress, that left us with no service until (I believe the manager?) an older employee came to us for refills and the bill. Both times our order was wrong. I understand it may be hard to hear in a loud environment but these kids can pick out what their buddies say at a Football game or in a night club so there's no excuse to turn your ears down during your job shift. When served incorrectly (both occasions ordered 2 large, was given 1 small 1 large coincidentally each time) they tried to offer everything other than simply going back and remaking the food properly. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about my guest and I wanting the food as we ordered it and not some combination of substitutions that these kids think somehow fixes the issue because the obviously only solution is to just give us what we are asking (and going to pay) for. Great food, but I highly recommend avoiding the dine-in entirely until the modern young people who are staffed here are pulled from a group that isn't so lazy...
Read moreWe stopped in during the holidays and were literally the only folks in there and for some reason we had to continually walk around and find someone anytime we needed something. We also were disappointed to find that this really is not fully associated with the other Hideaway Pizzas found all over the rest of the state which we've actually become accustomed. We are from the OKC metro and just were passing through Stillwater from our family farm and my sister from out of town has a love affair with Hideaway so we decided to kill two birds with one stone and stop here on the way back. We eat at Hideaway so often we never even look at the menu and start ordering right away and were stumped when our first two items we put orders in for we were told they didn't have them. We were ultra confused, but we quickly were versed in the franchising story. I'm not going to say it wasn't good, but it was just different than we had expected. Ranch dressing -- the ranch dressing here was very watery and I tasted like the generic store-bought dressing in our fridge. We were shocked because the homemade ranch we're used to is biblical it's so good. I mean my kids eat everything here with their special ranch but they wouldn't touch the stuff this location brought out. Anyway, I didn't think the food was not bad by any means. You could taste the freshness of the pizza it was quite good, but yes the dough is different. The fried mushrooms didn't have much batter and were thin, and we had little pieces of burnt fried stuff in the bottom of the bowl, meanwhile the other locations they are big and fluffy with a beautiful crisp batter. I do think the lacking service we experienced would have made our...
