I have been coming to this jewelry store since they moved to Hudson bridge. I have bought two rings from them. The first ring was great had it Many many years no issues. Had a great repore and relationship with everyone there. However my husband bought a second ring there for renewal of vows. Thee was a diamond in my jewelry box the next day and I took it too them. They repaired no charge. The large diamond was lose next⦠took it to them no charge. Lost a second diamond on the ban. Took it to them charged me 20 dollars. Started not wearing the ring much. Special occasions. Every time I brought the ring in I would be told how dirty it was, but I was hardly wearing it. As of today I have lost a total of five diamonds on the band, very last diamond on either side. I had the diamond replaced and was very disappointed in how I was treated. It cost me 40 dollars this time and I was all but called a liar to my face about wearing the ring. I was told I could upgrade if I had original paperwork. I was treated kind until I had a problem with their jewelry. Also once my large diamond was (tightened down) it mysteriously had a large black spot in it. I will be taking the two rings I bought here to another jewelry store and having them appraised. Fancy that has lost my business and my respect. I almost didnāt write this because Iām not the type of person to hurt someone or a business. But since I have read some of the other reviews I can clearly see this is who they are. It saddens me but hopefully I will detour someone else in having to deal with this sort of behavior and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a rather unique encounter with the store. I had lunch at Mesquite Grill. Apparently, my wallet had dropped in the parking lot. Lunch was being paid for by a colleague so I had no need to reach for the wallet.
An unknown honest person who was eating at the same restaurant found the wallet and turned it in to Fancy That Jewelry's employee Robyne. I drive by this store often, but have never stepped in because I don't wear jewelry. Robyne searches me online and finds my LinkedIn profile then sends me a message stating that they have my wallet.
I'm working. I don't see the message and don't respond. Robyn then gets a hold of one of her family member and has him drive to my house to hand deliver the wallet. He's knocking on the door loudly. I'm still working. I wasn't expecting any deliveries or visitors so I don't answer the door. It just didn't seem safe. He leaves after knocking.
After reviewing the home camera, it showed that he was holding my 10 year old distressed wallet.
I call the restaurant to see if anyone had turned in a wallet. The employee said no but had over heard a customer mentioning a wallet and a jewelry store.
I called Fancy That Jewelry and they were so relieved to hear from me. I asked if I can stop by and they said yes.
The employees Debbie and Robyne were so sweet. The effort that they went through to ensure that the wallet was returned to it's owner was beyond amazing. I'm not even a customer. I can only imagine how great the customer service must be for a...
