I recently brought my wedding band to Tribeca Diamonds for resizing. Prior to my arrival my husband called to confirm how many days it would take for a ring to be resized. He was told over the phone it would take 3 days to complete. Upon arriving at Tribeca (4/9) I was greeted appropriately and told the resizing process took 3 days, so I decided to move forward with the process. I pre-paid in advance $102 after tax, and anticipated picking up my ring 3 days later. On Saturday (4/13), I called to confirm my ring was back onsite from being resized and was told it was not ready yet and it would not be ready for pick up until Tuesday (4/16). The lady I spoke to stated I could come at anytime on Tuesday as the ring would be ready for pickup.
At this point in time I was slight annoyed but assumed there was some form of delay and maybe Tribeca did not ship my ring off to their jeweler the same day as received. On that Tuesday (4/16), I called again prior to heading to the store to pick up my ring. I spoke to another lady who stated it would not arrive until Thursday (4/18). I asked what was the reason for the continued delay as I was originally told it would be completed in 3 days. It had already been a week since my ring was dropped off. The lady over the phone apologized, stated she would touch base with the woman I spoke to for future course correction. I explained to her I would like a discount due to the inconvenience and she stated she would work to get my ring back from the offsite jeweler by Wednesday (4/17) and she would provide some form of discount to make things right.
The next day (4/17), an hour prior to close, I received a call stating my ring was back onsite and ready for pick up. On Thursday (4/18), my husband picked up my ring on my behalf, and upon his return home instead of a discount I was given a jewelry cleaner price valued at ($25). Per this review I am not happy with the resolve of my poor customer experience at Tribeca Diamonds. I was told I would receive a discount and was instead given a jewelry cleaner I never wanted nor asked for.
Overall I had high hopes due to their high ranking on Google, and positive reviews but left unsatisfied and underwhelmed with my overall experience. I would expect more from a jeweler of this caliber. I would never tell anyone to not try out Tribeca Diamonds, but unfortunately in my case I will need to look for another jeweler on this side of town for...

Read moreHorrible store . Took a couple of jewelry pieces to get fixed and paid for 14k gold to be repaired with…. Wasn’t cheap!!! When I picked it up I realized that not only did they put a burnt piece of metal on it to fix but they also ruined my jewelry. When I questioned the lady she started to laugh. I asked her if this is the way the fix jewelry and let her know I also paid for gold to be fixed with because the owner said that’s the only way I can be fixed. When I asked her if that was gold she continued to laugh…. I paid an arm and a leg to get my jewelry fixed. If they couldn’t do it they should have told me. But to ruin it and laugh about it is...
