Came here two weeks ago and service was quick and friendly! The older Caucasian woman (wish I knew her name) who took my order was very hospitable, and the food was surprisingly fulfilling (#1 biggie w/bacon). My son and I really enjoyed everything about Smalls, even the dining patio where we ate our food; we just knew we'd be back again.
However, yesterday was the opposite. It wasn't busy at all as we walked right up to the window to order, but we did manage to get there before it picked up just a little while we waited. The plan was for my son and I to eat there, then place an order for my folks to go once we were done. Our order took about 15 minutes. A very young lady (w/twists and an earbud) brought our food out, but no drinks. Instead of checking the order ticket, I had to tell her what drinks we had, and since the order took so long, I told her that I wanted to place another order (to avoid another long wait), but instead of grabbing our drinks she brought out more food to the other guests who ordered after us. I then walked to the window and before getting her attention I noticed that our two Smauces were missing (they were still on the counter). Once I got her attention, she gave me the drinks, took my second order and told me to wait for the sauce. I literally watched her bag more orders while the sauce sat right next to her. I got her attention once again, and she said that she was coming. I was pretty annoyed so I asked the original cashier who took my first order to grab the sauces. While we were eating we realized that she didn't give us straws either, I didnt even bother, mind you, my son ordered the Strawberry shake. We just took the lids off. As an expediter, that young lady was too lackadaisical having no sense of urgency. And every staff member I saw had earbuds. These young kids need to do better. The menu is too simplistic to take so long and to not get everything right.
FYI, the Smauce is pretty good but not enough came in the container, and I think it's a bit silly that when ordering the #4 I couldn't get two of the burgers without cheese; it was either cheese or no cheese for all four burgers, unless the young lady was just...

For anyone ordering directly from their website know that they go through a third party system for delivery which is DoorDash. Know that if a DoorDasher (which apparently happens often at this location) steals your meal they will not give you a refund, but instead you will have to get your remade order only if you drive there, ask for your order, get them to call DoorDash, and then DoorDash pays them. In the process you will be told to “F off, we are busy,” “F out of the way, we don’t have to help you,” and “contact DoorDash it’s there fault (though if you use there website it will pull up the “power by DoorDash delivery” after confirming your order in which the button that says help redirects you to Smalls slider.) Attempted to call and remedy this as our 2nd doordasher called us and informed us of the situation in which they attempt to get our food remade and then a Smalls employee cussed her out while she was on the phone with us saying they would not remake our food. In the end, we called them and were told they wouldn’t do anything about it and hung up on us after we asked for a refund or for our food to be made. Drove there in person and we were cussed out and argued with to the point where they shut the window in our faces and refused to acknowledge us there. Finally a worker contacted DoorDash and they received another payment for our original order and then it took an hour more for them to make our food. Before receiving our food, 5 other orders got their order prior to us, with friends of the employee also getting a large order before us. Then had the employee that was on the phone with us demand an apology (after they cussed us out and basically keep denying service), before we could get our food. Luckily a nicer employee took it from her and finally gave it to us. So 2 hours to finally get an order.
Food quality: cold, bland, would have gotten flavor, quantity, and spent less...
Read moreWorst experience. I really am not one to complain but it was such a bad experience. First we get there and the girl taking our order is leaning on a poll behind the car window so my husband is having to turn back at her to tell her our order (she walked over to us bc she was managing both lanes) we ordered a combo to share with a Coke Zero along with an additional large Coke Zero. We get to the window and the girl there gives us our food a Coke Zero and tries to give us a large cookies and cream milk shake. We let her know we didn’t order a milk shake . She immediately has an attitude and starts arguing us telling us that’s what’s on the screen so that’s what we ordered. We told her we’re sorry but the girl taking our order must have misunderstood we wanted a Coke Zero. She looks like she’s wanting to cuss us out shuts the window on us opens it a few seconds later and hands us a Coke Zero and slams the window again. We go to leave and I see on the receipt that they charged us for the milk shake . 8.10. She didn’t offer to let us still have the milk shake even though she knew we were charged for it and didn’t offer a refund . So we drove off paying for an 8 dollar milk shake we didn’t even receive. Yeah, we could have went back but didn’t even feel like dealing with it because she was just that rude. Email corporate and they didn’t seem to care in the least bit they responded with some type of response that seemed automated and said next meals on us but gave us enough points to get a milk shake . And honestly I’m not going back to use them anyway. I honestly never complain because I know how hard customer service is but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and feel like someone who cares should know. Hopefully it was...
