I happen to be visiting my sister, who recently moved from Long Island NY to Hampton Georgia. My sister and I visited this Supermarket Kroger located at 1750 Hudson Bridge Rd Stockbridge Georgia, we were doing some shopping for a little birthday party for her husband, before returning to Boston MA where we lived. We had a problem with some prices posted on a few items, which was a bit confusing because there was three different prices, we happen to saw a handsome black gentlemen neatly dress, hair well groomed which was twisted, we assumed he was a manager for the meat department, so we approached him,and after asking him. He confirmed he was the manager, he had a beautiful smile, he was softly spoken, very professional, well polite he took the time to come over and explained the prices, which there was a few errors on the prices, even though I know in my state of Massachusetts if the price on a item is incorrect the business as to take the loss of the item, and the price marked as to be honored, and some Supermarket like Stop and shop you get the item for free. But I do know not every business has that policy, and being in a totally different State, I don't know what there polices were. But this gentleman was such a professional, and did his job with such grace he gave us the item for the price that was listed. My point is he could have told us it was just a mistake on the price and we have to pay what the actual price of the item were, he never try to argue dispute,he was just a humble, respectful in his demeanor, yes mam, no mam with an infectious smile. This gentleman is to be commended of his excellencey as an employee to Kroger, and should be acknowledged by upper management and your cooperation, he is truly an asset to your company, which should be known, when there is poor service it is told,so when there is one employee that makes a difference it should also be acknowledge. This exceptional employee name was Brandon.Brandon I would like to thank you for your exceptional service, and your professionalism, keep up the good work, and your exceptional demeanor, I wish you all the best in your endeavor, and I hope Kroger appreciate how much you are an asset to...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews, but I had to say something about the recipe change of the rotisserie chicken salad at Kroger.
I used to buy the rotisserie chicken salad from Kroger all the time. I had stopped buying it for a while (a year or so). Not because it was bad, but I wasn't shopping much at Kroger. Recently, I bought two containers of their rotisserie chicken salad with grapes, each costing $8.74. I thought that was a bit costly, but I remembered how my family enjoyed it. When I got it home and made sandwiches, not only was I disappointed, but my family didn't like it either.
Did Kroger change the recipe? Why? My son asked if there was pickles in it instead of grapes because we really couldn't find any grapes and it just tasted funny... there were these little diced pieces of something in it, (maybe grapes or pickles, who knows, they were very small and pale) and the mayo or salad dressing they used wasn't the same either. I paid almost $20 for this chicken salad based on my previous experience, and I totally wished I hadn't.
Needless to say, I will NOT buy any more of the Kroger rotisserie chicken salad with grapes from the Hudson Bridge, Stockbridge store. It is AWFUL. Why did they change the recipe???
For those of you who enjoy rotisserie chicken salad, I recommend Ingles. I had stopped buying it for a while there as well (about 6 months) but went over to get a few containers this past weekend. Not only is the recipe the same it has been since 2010 when the store opened (on Walt Stephens), but it costs less. I got two containers at $5.89 each and my family enjoyed every drop! (I saved $6.00 for Ingles salad vs Kroger -- I could have gotten 3 containers from Ingles vs. 2 containers from Kroger).
The Kroger chicken salad I bought right before Thanksgiving, I had to THROW it out yesterday because my family just would NOT eat it. There was approx. a container and half left in my refrigerator! What a waste of money!
Kroger, you need to go back to the original recipe. Until then, I'll be buying my chicken salad...
Read moreThe majority of the time this is a good store. Everything is easy to find, the store is clean and the employees are friendly. We’ve used the Click Pick a few times and had pretty good success with it. That is until this last time. We ordered out groceries (it wasn’t a lot of groceries) with a pick up window from 6-7 the next evening. We got there at 6:45 and called. A man told us he would be right out. He came out and put groceries in another car that was there before us. He confirm our name and went back inside. He came out with groceries for a car that pulled up after us. After about 30 minutes we called and he stated there was an issue with our order and he was correcting it and would be out. After an hour passed I went inside to speak to the manager. While this is going on the employee made another run outside where he loaded groceries into another car which got there well after us. He then told the manager one of the totes with our stuff went missing. We only had about 5 bags of groceries so if they lost a tote then they lost our whole order or it never was picked. The manager explained that he would be out in 15 minutes and gave me a $20 gift card. About 30 minutes later the employees came out and gave us a $30 gift card explaining that he had to bring out the groceries for the other cars before he could work on getting our stuff together and that he would be right out with ours. Thirty minutes later, (we’re not at 2 hours) we go back inside and ask for the manager. She walks back to get the employee and he comes out with our stuff. We walk to the car and he puts our bags in the back, apologizes and goes inside. We check our order against our receipt. Five or six items were still missing. We went back inside, now fuming and hungry. He leaves and comes back with our missing items. We waited a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes to get our groceries. Had we not paid, we would have gone inside and gotten our stuff in a fraction of that time. There is no...
