Only giving two stars because this used to be a the place I would recommend to anybody with a cracked screen and have had 6 phones in my family fixed there.
My most recent repair experience has been terrible. I got my screen replaced last October. It started being glitchy around thanksgiving but due to the holidays and traveling I put off. It got so bad my screen would get inverted without reason. Screen would go dark but had to double click power button.
I took it in earlier this week and the technician who looked at it said he did a soft reset and that the problems I was describing he had never heard of. I was upset because he said I had water in my case of phone... which is waterproof. Later in the week, an area of my keyboard area stopped working which is exactly why I had gotten it fixed in the first place. My screen had never cracked. I went back and asked if they would now fix it (the soft reset did nothing). The female who gave me my phone when the repair was done said I had to pay for the repair... which made no sense because I was within the warranty. I was never told I would have to pay and I mentioned being in the warranty period before they did the second repair. When I got my phone it said there was a Face ID error but I thought it was just a need to reset my Face ID. The next morning I realized it was the camera depth issue. I went back to the store and said my Face ID is now not Working and that I wanted it fixed and refunded the $105 for the repair because I was within the warranty period. She said that Face ID always doesn't work when screens get replaced and that is normal. I said it never happened on the screens I had replaced before. I asked about the refund & she said I had to pay because they could not test the functionality of the phone.... I watch the young man who took in my phone for the second repair try to use the o location on my phone key and he was like yes, this needs to be replaced.
So now I am out over another $100 dollars, with Face ID broken.
I was hesitant to getting my phone repaired because the technician who rung me up on my first repair actually came out to my car and asked me for my number. I gave it to him and then he texted me immediately as I was driving and then called when I didn't pick up and texted again less than 10 mins after leaving the store. It was creepy and then I got more texts that night and actually was called by the location the next day.... This happen to be the technician who did the soft reset that did nothing for my phone. He worked with the female who told me I had to pay again and Face ID not working is perfect normal & wouldn't fix it.
I just want my phone fixed and my money back for the...

Batteries Plus loves to advertise that they can fix your iPhone for less than Apple charges you, but in reality they can't. Maybe if you simply have a cracked screen you'll get different results, but they told me my LCD screen was broken and they could fix it and give me a discount on the price. Naturally, being a college student who does not have a ton of money and needs a quick fix I agreed to let them fix my phone. Soon after I realized I made a mistake. The phone screen was not glued down fully so I had trouble with the touch screen when I would try to use my phone. So, I took the phone back to have them glue it down properly. They did it and I did not have trouble with the phone for a couple weeks. One morning I noticed the screen was a lot brighter in one place so I placed my finger on it. The phone screen began to glitch and flash and then went back to normal. Later on when I went to check my phone the whole screen was black and would not turn on. I had my mom take the phone in and they gave it a new LCD screen. Literally two days later the same thing began to happen, and the top half of the screen started going black. Obviously frustrated by this point, I took the phone back in for them to fix it. As I was waiting for them to give back the phone I heard them say to one another that the touch ID wasn't working, but they tried to say it so I could not hear them. I waited a couple more minutes before they gave the phone back and then got in my car and went to use my phone only to realize that they had broken the touch ID, and there was no longer any way to turn it on. I went back into the store and had them put a black screen on my rose gold iPhone 6s Plus because they ran out of white screens. They told me they thought the problem was with the screen, they would order a new white screen for me, and the only reason they never said anything about the touch ID not working was because "it was already off" when they checked so they "assumed I didn't use it." Obviously a lie to my face. I went back later in the week to get a white screen replaced and what do you know, one day later the entire screen goes black. As of now I am waiting to get a call back from the manager about getting a refund for the entire amount. I am fed up with these people and don't ever want to step foot into this store again. Worst service I have ever received in my life.
Update : Spoke with the manager and she was very nice. She refunded my money in full and even referred me to another place to...
Read moreAfter purchasing a battery for our mini van back in December of 2023, it died after 8 months of use. The battery supposedly has a 4 year warranty and we paid close to $300 for it because we wanted a good powerful one since my husband uses the vehicle for business. We thought, "it could not possibly be the battery!" So, we decided to have it towed by AAA. The driver suggested that the battery be checked and when he did, said that the cells or power in the battery was less than 3. We decided to have it towed to our mechanic. When he called to report the status, they stated that everytime they put the battery on the charger, as soon as they removed it from the charger it died completely. Therefore we had to purchase another battery. Supposedly, Batteries+ has a 4 year warranty on their batteries. When my husband took the battery back to the Stockbridge, GA location where we purchased it, the store associate told him that the warranty could not be honored because we did something wrong to the battery. He said that we let the battery sit to long in the vehicle. The vehicle was driven just about everyday, so without asking how long the vehicle sat, why would the store associate assume this was the case! Upon further investigation, we learned that this is a common issue with this company and warranties are regularly not honored, with this same reason being given. The associate kept the battery and took my husband's number saying that he would call him after speaking with the manager. We have not heard from anyone as of yet! Money is tight these days as it is. When you try to do your due diligence and not waste money, it really hurts when you come across companies that take advantage of others needs! Not only were we stuck with a defective battery, but also a bill from the mechanic which included labor for the time, diagnostics, and the cost of a new battery! All of which could have been avoided had the battery from Batteries + not been defective! It would have been less painful had they honored...
