Update: this location has gone down hill. They hire people who don’t want to work so they close off the restaurant seating and try to get people to leave by sayin g they are to go only. I say this because we walked in with the intent to get our order to go. The lady quickly told us they were to go only. We told her that was fine. The cook then tells us she’ll have to heat up the grill and it will be a while. We literally saw people walk out with their to go order before we walked in. They say whatever to get people to leave so they don’t have to work.
3 years ago We enjoy eating here as there is a full menu of breakfast as well as non breakfast items. This is one of the few restaurants open 24 hours locally. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly. They check on you often and keep your drinks filled.
We dine in as well as take out and have had decent experiences. We've been all different times of the day from Christmas morning to a random Tuesday. Even if they are busy, they get people in and out pretty quick. On Christmas morning the seats were full and there were people waiting for their food to go. It still only took about 20 minutes to get our food and everyone was still very chipper and polite.
We love that the food is cooked pretty fast. We place an order for pick up and by the time we get...
Read moreUnprofessional as hell. I received an email saying I’m invited to an interview at 1:00pm at this location. Maybe about an hr from the time of the interview I receive a call confirming the interview and I confirm, so I continue getting ready to later show up. After arriving and stating I was there for an interview, I was told by some older thin white woman to take a seat and that they’ll be right with me. Mind you, I showed up in a hoodie because it’s cold and leggings that weren’t revealing. After sitting for a couple minutes she asks how far away I stay and I tell her, just for her to tell me to go home and change into something professional then come back. Neither the email nor call mentioned ANYTHING about attire, which you would think if it was that serious they would mention it beforehand. Nevertheless, I can understand so I ask would black pants and a black shirt be okay with some slip resistant shoes. She then proceeds to say “whatever you think is professional”…if INTERVIEW attire for WAFFLE HOUSE of all jobs is THAT serious, proper attire should be advised beforehand via call or email, or should at least be specified upon asking such as I did, not just “whatever you think is professional”. That interaction alone showed people like me aren’t welcome there. Wish potential employees received the same 5 star service these...
Read moreI’m actually here now and I’m impressed. I usually get the same thing but today I thought I’d try the All-Star with a piece of chicken (I’ve never had the chicken) but it was so delicious and juicy. I’m definitely going to get that more often. Although the food was amazing, the reason for my review was more so what I wanted to highlight. The customer service was amazing. It was more so relaxed and just a friendly atmosphere. Even the employees were respectful of each other. Like one server was correcting another one but the way she said it so softly and respectfully and almost a whisper (I wasn’t purposely listening, just noticed it) was so kind. Then he asked her for help and she immediately helped him and told him “it’s okay”. Didn’t criticize him or anything. Victoria is her name and she’s literally what they need to keep. She’s a great multitasker and she pretty much can read her guests minds. (She just suggested and brought over my to-go items without me even having to get her attention) she’s a jewel to your company! And this is from a Waffle House lover who have seen my share of Waffle House experiences but I love the food! Keep it up! Give Victoria a raise…and “Chef kiss” to the cook! Literally the best chicken I have ever had at any restaurant, breakfast and dinner venues! I would have took a picture but I...
