First off let me start by saying beautiful store!! Very well maintained and clean every time you walk in... Secondly, this by far was the WORST experience and most stressful experience I had when planning and preparing for my wedding! I am a first time Tux buyer/renter... My husband and our son went in about 3 weeks before the wedding to get fitted for their tux. Measurements were taken order was placed and I not knowing I had to pay for the tux up front the young lady gave me the option to pay online when mu check hit 4 days later... Perrrrfect I thought ! Well the day comes for me to pay online and the price is different than quoted, it was cheaper and honestly I wasn't mad about it. Well after payment was made a confirmation email tells me that I still have a remaining balance! I called the store immediately just to clarify and confirm everything because I paid what the website told me to pay but the balance is different, the young man that answered to assist was very rude and clearly didn't know to much about the online payments as " uhh that's strange because we don't have many people who can't pay for their things in store" or asked me questions like WHY didn't I pay in store etc etc. Anywhooo I asked for a manger and this man was again rude and told me it's nothing they can do about. Corporate was closed and they could not assist me at the time call the next day around 11.
Fast forward to pick up day the Wednesday for the wedding... My husbands tux did NOT fit at all. From top to bottom the measurements were shit!!!! Okay now im STRESSED out to the max. New items were to be ordered and picked up Friday afternoon, greatttt I think. NOPE not at all, these tux pants are way to short and need to be altered yet again.. Literally the day before my wedding!!
I picked up the Tux the morning of my wedding thank God it fit that time but the whole experience in this store was not great at all. A $100 refund was given to me and I appreciate that!! Not everyone in that store has the. customer service or the knowledge to work in this store. And at a place like this everyone there should know how to deal with the stresses of wedding, proms etc because I didn't run into an empathic person in there until I was loosing my shit and cursing up a storm in there Friday night !!
I will never use Mens Warehouse again!! And to think my 8 year old son loves the look so much I wanted to go back and. purchase suits for him but I'll shop on Amazon for now and find a better...
Read moreBought a suit jacket that cost $199 and pants that cost $99 i also paid $32 them him the jacket and 17 to hem the pants... went back 4 days later to pick them up after putting on the jacket i relised the sleeves were past my wrist . So the guy that works there said Hmmm it seems as if they did nothing to your jacket ..and he said i will have the tailor redo it because its not sitting where it should.. and i agreed with him... so he takes my jacket and says come back in a few days... when i came back i brang the pants with me and after trying everything on i relised the pants was also as if noting was done to them they was baggy and still too long so the tailor worker said No Thats no right you paid to have it done it should be the way i wanted it... now he takes my pants and says we can have them done in a few hours.. THIS MAN WAS VERY NICE.... so as i go to counter and ask ehat happen to my original receipt that i had left with my jacket ... he said ohh shawn must have throw it away ... they did not want to give me my original recipt back..after telling the man its not normal for someone to pay $380.84 for something and not have a recipt.. he gets kinds smart with me and hands me my recipt... then he tells me is 1 recipt enough? I can print as meny as youd like ..... i was baffled few hours later i pick up my pants and leave out of town for the event .... well as i was getting dressed i noticed that 1 pant leg is longer then the other and was way to baggy... totally unhappy luckly i was near my friends house and was able to wear one of his suits...... i called the store and said i want my money back ...online store policy says anything can be returned before 90 days with recipt... and not worn ..the stores telling me no they will not return it... so whats this false advertisement? Today i noteid way better suits for half the price and macys .... and fit right off the rack.... unlike mens where house that sells you over and undersized suits and promise you thay can make it fit... and after you pay they tell you ohhwell ...i will be going into the store when i get back in...

We rented 7 tuxedos from Men's Wearhouse for our wedding 2 months ago. When we paid for all the sets, we were told they weren't able to determine tax yet until the tuxedos were fitted and collected. So I advised them not to charge any of our groomsmen and we will be covering the taxes on the day we collect my groom's clothes. The staff said it was absolutely fine and that she will leave a note on our account not to collect from anyone other than from the bride and groom. Despite that, they still collected from the first person who went to get fitted and collected his tux. So I called to remind them and was again told it was not a problem. She will write a note not to collect from the next guys who will come and collect their tux. Despite that assurance, they still collected taxes from the groomsmen when they came to collect theirs.
We got a flyer saying that we get a free new tux for my groom to keep after the wedding being a perfect fit member. So we went to their branch in Stockton only to be told that we already availed of that when we got one free rental for the wedding. Free new tux to keep doesn't sound the same as free rental.
Shortly thereafter I got two vouchers in the mail for $50 each that can be used to purchase items in their store or online. I tried to use those in their online store and none of the voucher numbers would work as they were not valid.
Freebies are good and they are appreciated but I think it is not fair to use them to lure customers yet they don't live up to their...
