I will NEVER come to this store again! I walked into this store this morning to purchase some official Cavs Championship locker room gear and I was not treated right at all. Now I understand with all of Northeast Ohio trying to buy Championship gear that the supply would be limited, but what I don't understand is, why did the manager treat me so poorly when I tried to ask him questions about the Cavs gear. I asked him if the store was going to put anymore gear out & at first he ignored me. Then I proceeded to ask him again, and he gave me nothing but attitude. He told me what I see out is the only thing they have. But the way he told me was so unprofessional. Then when I asked if the store was getting another shipment of Cavs gear, he told me no. But this is the killer. As I turned around to leave the store a caucasian woman walked up to him and started asking him the same questions I was trying to ask and his attitude was 1,000% different with her. And I about hit the roof when she asked if the store was getting anymore Cavs gear and he told her they were expecting a shipment in later today. I started to get real ignorant with him, but I decided to take the high road and I simply left the store. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS STORE AGAIN AND I URGE ALL MY FACEBOOK, TWITTER AND INSTAGRAM FRIENDS TO DO THE SAME. DONT GO AND SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WHERE YOU ARE NOT WANTED AND ITS PRETTY CLEAR THAT THE DICK'S ON HOWE AVE DON'T CARE FOR OR WANT PEOPLE THAT LOOK LIKE ME SPENDING MONEY IN THEIR STORE! They should name the store after this guy because he was truly a DICK towards...
Read moreVery upset at my experience at this store today! I’ve been in this specific store many many times with my Dog. Today I was there with my sister and our neighbor who had his puppy. We were in the store for a good 30 minutes and when we were standing in the checkout line checking out the manager came up to me (I had the puppy’s leash) and very rudely told me that dogs weren’t allowed in store unless they were service dogs and had a vest on to prove so. I respectfully asked her when the rules changed and she get even more rude with me and said they’d never changed and that’s how the store has always been. I explained I’d been in the store many many times before with my dog who was also there a few people behind me with my neighbors kid and that no one has ever said any thing to us about dogs not being allowed. And she said well the rules have never changed we only allow service dogs.
Ok I get that, and I’m not upset about that. I’m upset because online it says pets are allowed. And there is no where on the doors or inside anything posted saying otherwise. I’d understand her attitude and rudeness if it was clearly posted and I had just ignored it and brought my dog in anyway (which I’d never do) but the way she handled it was uncalled for and unprofessional! I wouldn’t even be upset if she would have been...
Read moreBrad and Jake were great! Brad took the time to help me locate and determine the best size for what we needed (he was sensitive to my grandsons embarrassment over needing a 'cup' LOL). He explained the differences of each (heeeelllooo world of Beans & Weenie protectors... There's a lot of choices out there-soft cups, hard cups, traditional straps, compression shorts, colors, oooiiieee-). After making it to the check out counter, Jake caught there was only one in the pack of TWO I was intending to purchase (as I'm sure we've all experienced a time or two, this is typically over looked OR a lack of concern if it's not their $$ being spent)! I truly appreciate the helpfulness of Brad and the awareness of Jake! Kudos gentlemen and Dick's Sporting Goods for hiring qualified, personable employees (unlike the sum@many stores that are too busy on their phone to make eye contact to assist customers or annoyed by doing so 😞)! THANKS AGAIN DICK'S FOR CARRYING WHAT WE NEEDED AND BRAD/JAKE...
