Stowe Events Field — Local services in Stowe

This is a review on the hot air balloon festival hosted by the resort. I took my kids to see hot air balloons. Instead we got into a hot and humid overpriced State Fair. First they charged $10 each to enter. Once we were in we discovered that every small activity or food (i.e. bouncing house, mini train etc) was extremely overpriced. But the most disappointing of all was the event itself. I think there were 5 small balloons in total which were not even inflated when we got in. The scenery was not as impressive as you can imagine from the pictures, imagine expecting a golf resort and getting into a minigolf. Anyway, I am not sure I am able to convey the experience, the bottom line is - save your money, take your kids to eat burgers across the street and watch the balloons from afar. We recently visited these fields (Mayo - 10 fields) for a youth soccer tournament. The games we participated went flawlessly. They had a variety of foods and drinks. Those that participated in the officiating were great and more than willing to inform the kids in how to correct any infraction. My 1 issue was a bank of Port O Lets provided by Calkin had NO Hand Sanatizer in them. So with 100s of people expected...

Great venue for the British Invasion cR show. We'll organized, friendly volunteers and a beautiful weekend. Only fault is that the show needs signs on 89 and other routes coming...
