Last Call Wine & Spirits — Local services in Stratford

Wish I could give no stars. Stopped in today, first and last time, after working a 12 hour shift to buy some beer. The customer at the register had purchased 6 bottles of wine, presumably as gifts. After paying he told the older gentlemen behind the counter to go ahead and ring me out and he would peel off the price tags from the bottles he had just purchased. I had already been standing there for a minute or two at least. Instead the man behind the counter, without even looking at me or acknowledging me, started to slowly peel off the price tags himself. Then he neatly bagged each bottle in a decorative bag. Asked a worker to hand him a box. All the while I'm standing at the register not a foot away from him with my credit card in hand waiting. Then he slowly starts cutting little pieces of ribbon and making fancy little ribbon ties on each bottle. Not once looking at me or saying I'll be right with you. Completely ignoring me. By this time I've been standing there for almost ten minutes and two other customers have lined up behind me. The man was extremely rude! Wouldn't even look over and say I'm sorry for the wait I will be right with you. Or even calling over one of the other two workers to ring me out. Finally I just left my beer on the counter and walked out. Completely ridiculous!!!!! Never at any store have I experienced such rudeness.
