This place is fantastic. It has a very welcoming vibe from the moment you step inside. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, even at 5 am, which is straight up bonkers. I mean, who's friendly at 5am? These people, that's who. If you didn't want to better yourself when you walked in, you will when you see what the place has to offer. They have a row of treadmills right next to another row of treadmills. And behind that? ANOTHER row of treadmills, just in case you were afraid you'd have to wait for a treadmill. They also have two different types of stair machines, two different types of elliptical machines and four (FOUR!) different types of stationary bikes, because why not, right? More options = less excuses, I guess. And if that isn't enough cardio options for you, you could always play some basketball. I mean, I don't, but you could. And if you still need more cardio, you could always just lift weights faster. And I know what you're thinking, "Does this gym even have weights?" The answer is, "Sometimes!" Nah, just kidding. They always have weights. Lots of them, too! And you can do fun stuff with them, like pick them up! And put them down! And pick them up again! Look at you, already working out! It's that easy. Just remember to put them back when you are finished with them. (That's called gym etiquette, people like that.) They have all kinds of weights for you to lift. Barbells, dumbbells, even kettlebells, which look scary at first, but then you find out how they are used which makes them even scarier. But if heavy circles (and dodecagons!) aren't your jam, they have plenty of weight machines for you instead. Upper body? Lower body? Muscles you didn't even know you had? You'll find a machine for that. Probably two! And if all that sounds really confusing, they even have trainers to help you out. Whether you are just getting started on your fitness journey or are an experienced veteran looking for a new routine, these trainers have you covered. Wanna burn fat? They got you. Build muscle? They got you. Get stronger? Believe it or not, they got you. PR or ER? They definitely got you. They will even help you train your heart to failure! (Ask for Nick.) They also offer group classes, if that's more your speed. The facility also has racquetball courts, but you could probably play handball in there too. Plus the acoustics are unreal, if you want some reverb in your life. There is also a pool. I'm pretty sure it's heated. People seem to like it. I've also heard there is a hot tub. I'm not sure if it's available for parties, but it doesn't hurt to ask. (Ask for Nick.) Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a gym. It's clean, affordable, and the...
Read moreMy sister signed up in January- it was such a great deal to add someone to her membership, that we added my dad as well. Jose, the store manager was friendly and spent a lot of time with us. They had been wanting to commit to a regular work-out program, so they both signed up with Marshall, one of the Trainers- who has been awesome! The gym is CLEAN- and someone is constantly wiping down the equipment (not relying on members). A bonus is the sauna and the pool- plus the classes (all included). I have been able to go with the free passes included when one signs up- , and I too love it! We looked at several gyms and are so happy that we decided on this one. One of the gyms wanted our driver licenses just so that they could give us a tour. I felt very uncomfortable with this, especially in this time of identity theft- plus one gets charged an "annual maintenance fee" for "equipment repairs: It is an adult gym- not a loud "nightclub" like atmosphere. All of their equipment is up to date and in working order (some gyms might be a little cheaper, but half their equipment is broken). Comparatively though, LA is in line with their monthly cost and EVERYTHING is included (except the trainers). My sister is moving to grad school, and since LA FITNESS is a national company, her membership will travel with her. Our family has been so pleased with LA FITNESS in Stratford, that I too plan to join. Jose and his team are always available to assist them in any way. They feel like family! The real benefit is that because it has been such a great experience, my family has stuck with their fitness program, which has really contributed to their overall health and wellness.
Thank you to Jose, Marshall, and Jerry for helping them to achieve their personal...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Elijah Nunez at Esporta, and I must say, his service was nothing short of exceptional. Elijah is a true standout of his generation, a hard worker, and a natural leader. His professionalism, expertise, and dedication to his work were truly remarkable, and I would give him a solid 5-star rating for his outstanding service.
Elijah's ability to make a tedious process extremely smooth and efficient was impressive. He went above and beyond by offering to handle the situation personally, which was incredibly helpful and appreciated. His team player mentality and asset to the organization were evident throughout our interaction.
I was fascinated to learn that Elijah is a talented boxer in training who puts his body and relationships first, prioritizing them over partying. His dedication to his training and physical presence reminded me of looking at the David in Florence, a masterpiece by Michelangelo.
Elijah's clear-mindedness and focus on serving his clients were truly impressive. His high IQ was evident as he was able to recall minor details of our conversation that happened long ago. I was surprised that he remembered specific personal details that only a once-in-a-lifetime person could remember.
In summary, Elijah Nunez is an outstanding professional who is a true asset to Esporta. His hard work, dedication, and expertise make him a standout among his peers. I highly recommend him for his exceptional service and professionalism, and I look forward to working with him again...
