I have been going here for ages (when the restaurant was by BJ's) when Tommy owned it. I went there for the first time post Tommy and oh my this could be the worst dinner I have ever had.
Let's start drinks. My wife wanted a green tea and they had no green tea. The new owner said would you like hot water? Seriously? We ordered Jicama Rolls, Papaya Salad, my wife had a vegan pho and I had a bun.
The Jicama Rolls were ok. Probably the best thing we had. The Papaya salad was well not available. They said they would make one with mango but it never showed up. My wife's pho is far cry from what Tommy would have served. The vegetables were frozen. How did I know this the carrots were all universally shaped. And the broccoli wasnt fresh. The broth was bland. Horribly bland. Tasted like water. Plus they also forgot to add the tofu in it. They quickly "made" some. But it tasked store bought and not fresh. My Bun was like something that was slapped together not knowing what they were doing. The portion was like half of what Tommy would serves and tastes really bad.
So we're go to pay. We didn't not see a bill for what we were just told an amount. I didn't even know if I was charged for the Papaya salad that didn't show up. This is not a way to run a restaurant. I don't think I will ever be back again. I know restaurants change hands but the drop off in one week is unbelievable.
Tommy we will...

Yesterday I ordered shrimp and pork summer rolls over the phone and when I placed the order, I wasn’t told that there would be a price increase. I was expecting to pay $23 and some change like usual when I went to go pick up my order. Lady is like your total is $32 and some change, and I’m like what? She told me there’s been a price increase. I really didn’t appreciate the fact that she didn’t tell me this over the phone. Food might be delicious, but paying such a big difference for the same amount of food was disappointing and unsuspecting. I really can’t afford to pay $10 extra for the same amount of food. Next time I go I’ll be ordering less food. I don’t know what’s the point of them raising the prices if people aren’t going to order the same...
Read moreNew ownership not the same quality. Have been going to TD vietnam palace for years. The pho didnt include bean sprouts, jalapenos, sauce or limes. The chicken broth was almost a clear color not the same as usual and was labeled on the container made on sunday. Td would normally make their broth fresh daily and it was lacking in flavor. The portions of the pho were were 1/2 of what they used to be. The banh mi sandwich didnt not have the same ingredients and had an awful mayo on it which is totally different than how Tom& Dina made it. If you enjoyed this establishment previously then you will not appreciate it now. They have cut corners and the quality and taste of the food is remarkably...
