I think average is as fair of a score I can give it. I’d give it a 2.5 stars if I could to make it really even. The chips and salsa were, Mexican restaurant average. Chips were warm which was I happy about, and the salsa was standard Mexican restaurant salsa. I ordered guacamole and they asked if I wanted the jalapeños, yes I wanted the jalapeños haha. The guac was too chunky for me, some people may like the chunky almost salad-like guac, I just prefer the thick creamy type of guac. So the guac is just……okay to me. Now let’s talk about the main course. I did your standard 3 tacos with steak. Came with rice and beans. The rice and refried beans are like ALL Mexican restaurants rice and refried beans, nothing special at all just the bland rice with the beans and a lil cheese on top. The tacos were………just okay again. The tortilla was nice and crispy, the onions and cilantro are…..onions and cilantro what more can you expect? Lmao. Now this is where I was disappointed, the steak was UNseasoned and dry. :(. I was begging for flavor. Dipping it in the salsa, putting lime juice on it, putting the chunky guac on it, it was just plain Jane. The service was just okay too, they did their job and that’s about it. If you’re looking to go to flavor town this place isn’t it. There are so many Spanish places within the 2 mile radius you can get that mouth watering experience with. If you want a standard bare bones basic Mexican restaurant experience, yeah this is it. If you don’t like seasoned food, this place is it. $32.18 of mid for me. Will I return??????…………nah I think I’ve uncovered this mystery. ON TO THE NEXT!!

We came here on a Sunday evening, it was a nice ambiance, we sat over at the tables but they do have a bar area. Very cozy place, waitress was very nice and please be patient because it does seem like they are understaffed. For starters, we ordered steak quesadillas and they were incredible, I would’ve liked a little more steak but that’s just be being greedy. It was served with the house guac and sour cream. We were also given a good amount of chips and salsa. The main courses were amazing. I ordered the Tres Amigos. Everything was great and the refried beans were boooomb. My wife ordered this combo plate with steak and shrimp, that came with different sides and a container of warm tortillas. Now the drinks… A1!! I ordered the $10 Mango Frozen Margarita and my wife got the strawberry…. INCREDIBLE. Will be back just for the drinks over at the bar. If you’re in the area or just moving to it, come here and enjoy your night with yourself or loved ones. You won’t regret it. Update: Guacamole is greaaaat. They used some type of corn flake outer shell for the fried ice cream, not sure if I liked it too much. It did come with these really good tortilla chip like chips and that was great. Burrito was solid. No complaints there.

"...And God made a man, the man got lonely, he said 'Please, Lord, if I could only, have an angel to hold in my arms.'" So begins the tune of Morgan Wallen's "Man Made a Bar". Well guess what ladies and gentlemen...I have FOUND the angel at Acapulcos. More specifically, ANGEL, a waiter here who served my friends and I on my birthday. When informed that it was my birthday, he-without a moment's hesitation-turned on a dime and came back with TWO SCOOPS OF STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND SPRINKLES. Are we serious guys?!?!? Is this guy even real?!??! How I was lucky enough to have this king as a waiter, I do not know, but what I do know is that Acapulcos is blessed to have this man working for them. If you ever go here, request him as a waiter, and if you ARE Acapulcos, GET THIS MAN A RAISE RIGHT NOW. He also gave me a photo opportunity with him and provided props for said picture. I wish I listened to my own review. But things had to be better, right? NO..We ordered through Door Dash. Food from here and beverages from BevMax. For some reason, Door Dash called and spoke to the manager? Our food was at our door already! She called in our exact order for the second time. We had spoke to the woman who answered the phone and took orders. We told her we only wanted one. She was all confused and walked over to the manager. He wouldn't get on the phone or even help her resolve anything. They wasted so much time that the second exact order was put together and sent for a second time!!! We also ordered from a store and when they saw a double order, they cancelled one! Not here. They want money. Not customers who have gone there ever since they opened. I think what I mainly found alarming is the amount of time our order was put together and sent. How could they cook to order and have it done faster than Taco Bell? The chips were stale, the salsa was just spicy juice. The guacamole had turned brown in spots. The cheese was not even melted. We had to finish cooking it! The Churros were not light and fluffy. They were hard and chewy. Taste of old oil. The dipping sauces were watered down and didn't add anything to the hard churros. So we got bad food TWICE! When we asked the woman about a second order she said, yeah I thought that was weird! Sorry, you have to contact Door Dash.

I had to delete my 5 star and go all the way down to one. What an ordeal! We used doordash although the problems came from here. I asked for a cheese enchilada black beans instead of refried because they contain lard. Doordash offered a credit. But my son ordered so we both had dinner. He called Acapulcos and received a very nasty reply. Even though he had to drive to the restaurant leaving me alone handicapped with medical issues. They tried to get him to keep the order saying they stopped using lard. It wasn't worth trusting them. They said on top of having to drive there they were charging him $5 for a new enchilada! WHAT? He did it even though I wouldn't I'm guessing they thought I could eat at least the enchilada and rice even though it was in a container with the refrieds and covered in them. He had to wait 20 mins before he got two containers. One with an enchilada and another with black beans NO RICE! At that point. He was gonna lose his temper and just took it after of course paying $5! We have had issues with pick up orders and they were wonderful. Not tonight! Even the salsa was just pure liquid and very cold? Mine had ice in it! So much for fresh and where the heck was the salsa? A ton of chips that got nothing on them dipping in bland colored water. We didn't even bother. Again they are having a downward dive. Gotta find...

So I’ve been going here since they first opened. A very loyal consistent costumer. The food was always amazing, the drinks perfect and the service always kind and on point. I went there tonight for dinner with my family and the server was slow, apparently doing the bar and the floor. Took 15 minutes to even be seen for drinks and food. Then the food came and wasn’t cook fully, gooey and had definitely been sitting under a heater for a while. Our server never came the whole meal to check on us. I asked another server to get ours and she came 25 minutes later. I ate half my food because she wasnt doing her job. When she finally came I told her about the food and also our food is never bad there. She brushed it off and came back with the check. I saw she didn’t even try to give us a discount for the barely cooked food. When I approached her she said that it was too bad I ate it. I said I ate it because she never came to the table to check on us. She said I’m working the bar too I’m busy and tell her that’s not my problem. She says it is now and I’ll pay for it all since I want to be like that. I think the manager steps in and fixes the bill for us. She is now face to face with me saying she always takes care of us (she never does! We have someone else who takes very good care of us there) I asked her why she was in my face and if there was a problem and she giggles and walks off. As someone who has worked in the food industry for 13+ years working both the bar and floor at the same time this behavior was unacceptable! You don’t ever get in a customers face or act like you’re going to fight. If it wasn’t for my child being there her night would have went very different. Never going back which is unfortunate because they have always been...
