Everyone needs to pay attention to this situation. Earlier today this business put up a now deleted Instagram post announcing their 3 year anniversary with some fun party events and discounts. This would all be great EXCEPT they also mentioned a raffle with a “grand prize” of a LIVING 4-month old French Bulldog puppy. Animals are NOT a gift or a raffle prize. Animals ARE sentient beings. Sentient beings are not bought with raffle tickets. This is extremely harmful in many ways to the animal. Where is this puppy from? I’m assuming from a breeder. Most puppies are put up for purchase by breeders at 8 weeks old. Why is ONE puppy out of a litter (if from a breeder there are definitely more puppies in this litter) available at 4 months? Where are the other puppies. Who is the breeder. If they are “reputable” and “ethically breeding”, they would never allow their puppy to be raffled out to a stranger. Where is any information regarding the puppy’s veterinary history. Vaccinations, deworming treatments, microchip, etc etc. Furthermore regarding raffling out to a stranger, this is harmful to the puppy because who knows what home the puppy is going to. There are no credentials, no application, no home visits, no background check, no references being required to ensure this puppy will not be put in the wrong hands and end up abandoned, abused, medically neglected, or bred further. Now after initial backlash they took the post down. Stated this raffle will not be happening. Good but WHERE’S THE PUPPY NOW ??? The damage has already been done. Shelters across the country are DROWNING with intakes. This situation is asking for this puppy to end up in a shelter. We don’t need that. This puppy does not need that. Stop breeding french bulldogs. There is NO ethical way. This puppy should have not ended up in this situation. This is a incredibly idiotic situation due to complete and utter ignorance and lack of common sense. Support rescue and shelter. Adopt don’t shop, don’t raffle off dogs. And WHERE IS THE PUPPY ?

I get my haircut from Jeff next door and typically stop here afterwards. The coffee and specialty drinks are exceptional, with each sip showcasing the care and quality that goes into making them. One thing that really stood out to me was the commitment to crafting everything in house from which I overheard the employee mention talking to another patron. From their lavender powder to the brown sugar and simple syrup, they take the time to ensure that every ingredient is of the highest quality. It's clear that they are passionate about what they do and are dedicated to providing their customers with an exceptional experience. The staff member (wish I got his name, deserves a shout-out!) who I have talked to a few times is always friendly and welcoming, making each visit a pleasure. I would love to see a little more artwork on the walls! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great coffee and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Just a quick note, please pay attention to the parking lot signs or ask an employee if you are unsure. I have seen a tow truck take a car in literally the matter of two minutes. Do not park on the outside edge!

I was so excited to learn that a new black owned business moved into town and I couldn’t wait to visit them! My first visit was in the fall of 2022 and their food and drink options were a bit limited. Fast forward to spring of 2023 and they have not only added new options to the menu, but they were as busy as ever!! Im thrilled to see this family run business thriving, and there’s no question as to why: This was the best avocado toast I’ve ever tasted!!! I was a bit confused as to why the order came with only one and a half slices of the soft, thick bread, but after finishing my meal in under 5 minutes, I didn’t miss the other portion. The toast was very filling and it was a wonderful experience for my first time tasting pickled onions. Everything about my order was delectable!! I also ordered a chai latte with oat milk and though the tea itself was not strong in flavor, the cup was pleasant overall. The environment inside is so warm and inviting, and the staff has always been kind and welcoming. I’m so happy to have the opportunity to support Frenchies, and their food, professionalism, and aesthetic certainly earned our patronage.
