When my friends and I heard of this place we were really excited because we love sushi. We could each easily eat 4-5 rolls each depending on what we get and when we go. The 5 of us came and the waitress refused to give us more than one sheet to order from which made ordering difficult and slightly confusing. The first waitress was unhelpful and barely spoke English and the second waiter came out and told us we were ordering too much. But when you have five people ordering on one piece of paper it’s obviously going to look like a lot of sushi. When the sushi came out it was all mixed up on the plate, and we were missing 5 entire rolls after we sorted it out. We order again for some more sushi and three rolls were again missing. A waitress comes over and says that they only made half and wanted to confirm that we actually wanted the amount we wrote and told us how many pieces it would be ... we said yes and it took another 15 minutes to come out. The place was empty the entire time and the waitresses do not come and check in unless they are eyeing how much sushi you’re eating. They were not friendly and basically seemed mad that we were ordering the all you can eat. If you wanted a limit set on how much you can order at once, you should set one. And don’t just not make the sushi rolls that we order because you think it’s going to waste. They basically tried to make us feeling guilty for “ordering so much” and We ended up eating every single roll we ordered. And I don’t think I would come here again because of how the service was. The hastle and frustration isn’t even...
Read moreI went there today with four others. When ordering you had to put the quantities of each item that you wanted next to the items on a little paper list. They refused to give us more than one of these meaning we had to calculate how many of each we wanted among all of us. Then they made us make out a new one because they said we had ordered too much at once. So we made a smaller list and when they brought the food out to us they forgot about half of what we ordered, and refused to let us order more until we finished what was there when some of us didn’t even get any of the food they had picked out. Then when we ordered again, they refused to bring out all of it until we finished what was on the second order. Then when we ordered dessert, we waited for about five minutes and they brought out the check, never bringing us the dessert. The quality of the food was average, but the service was terrible. I would not recommend coming here unless you want the staff treating you like you don’t know how to order food off of a menu. When they saw how much we ordered they tried to explain how the menu worked by talking slowly. When five people order two items each it equals ten. We understand that that might be a lot if it was for one person but some people might might want to get the same thing so we order four...
Read moreHad the worst experience at Kama Sushi yesterday. My wife and I have been coming here for 5 years now but we will probably not be coming here anymore. To start with our visit, the only waitress on staff spilled beer on our table, table with a 3 and 1 year old, and didn't even bother to clean it up. It spilled all over the table, the pepper salmon, plates, etc. my wife and I cleaned and left the dirty napkins at the edge of the table. The waitress didn't even bother to check, clean, pick up the dirty napkins or even offer new napkins. So we got ourselves new napkins and got a nasty look from another waiter. Afterwards, we asked for forks for the kids and were not brought any after 5 min of waiting (mind you there were only two other filled tables in the restaurant). I proceeded to get my own forks for my kids and then the waiter got confrontational with me. Both the waiter and waitress did not seem to care about the poor service that was given today and this will be the last time I will be visiting this place. While the food is good, the service was bad and the entire time I was there, I did not hear an apology. An apology for either the poor service or for spilling the beer would have been...
