On Sunday, 11/13/2022 at approximately 3:47 p.m. I entered the Streetsboro AT&T store. There sat 4 individuals sitting around having a non-related work conversation. Having a conversation on the job is great! However, when a customer enters the establishment, they should be simply acknowledged. Example: Hi, will be with you in a moment OR How can I help you? None of this occurred. After standing and waiting for several momentsā¦.still no acknowledgementā¦. So, as a customer ā¦. I left the store without a simple hello or assistance. Today 11/14/2022 @ 10:45 a.m. called the store to speak with a manager, in hopes this could be rectified, so a written review could be avoided regarding this sub-standard customer service. When called, Amada answered the phone and said they currently did not have a manager employed at the store. However, she would give the phone to Oila (sorry, if the name is misspelled) to provide further assistance. After speaking with Oila, she admitted it was HER who was working yesterday! Then she tried to tell me, she had 3 customers she was waiting on. Politely, I informed her how everyone was sitting around having a conversation about a car accident and how the girl in the conversation will not be at work the next day. Oila was silent! She said nothing. I proceeded to ask about their training policy, once again, her responseā¦. Nothing! Finally, I asked if there was another number where I can voice my concerns. I was there to get information on how I can go about switching my service when my contract at my current provider is up. Kevin, the manager on staff was kind and courteous. He informed me of how to go about the switch and the best time to do that. He listened to me and assessed my needs. Upon talking we discussed fiber internet- I was sold. He explained it so well even I understood it. I have now been using fiber for a little bit of time and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I have to get off my family plan so I went to the store to get pricing and explore options. the person working on wednesday april 17th was not interested in helping me (unfortunately). I'm not sure if they were just having a bad day or what, but they were so apathetic in their efforts to provide information i was in and out of the store in 5 mins. i called at&t customer service and they were more helpful in providing pricing plans than the person in the store. smh....just a waste of time. never going to venture into this at&t...
