Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Streetsboro

So very inconsistent at the Streetsboro location. I get the same drink each time we go - cranberry limeade. The past 4 times I have had it, it has ranged from 100% lime juice to 100% cranberry juice. It has not been the same drink twice in the past year. Food is fair. I am not sure what happens with their burger buns but they are always so dry and stale. (I guess that means they are probably stale?) People are always very friendly but it doesn't help the quality of the food and there are tons of fast food places to choose from within a stones throw of this place. It is very frustrating because you get that hankering for a banana pie milkshake but then it is so disappointing because it is like they made it first, then made the rest of your food so that when you finally get it, the shake is soupy and warm. I am not sure how a milkshake can be warm but it is possible. I keep trying to like Sonic. I really want to but they keep making it so tough. I will confess that I LOVE the corndog. I have always been a fan of corndogs (I know I am gross, lol) and will forever be one, and because I can get one or two to-go at Sonic, I will continue to try different things at Sonic in hopes of finding something else there...

On Saturday (8/17), I went to this super-fab place for dinner. Usually I go to the drive-thru to place my order. This time, the car was parked at a spot with a menu, and one of the wonderful staff came up to the car and placed our order. Server was very open and professional in listening to our orders. Now, sometimes I get a wonderful plain hot dog, and other times I get tremendous tater tots, and some times I get the very awesome corn dogs. But on Saturday, I had a very perfectly plain hamburger, complete with superb milkshake and fries as the side. When we were done placing our order, the staff wasted zero time making our food and drink. Server ordered the food to our car immediately. And everything was up to our standards. Everything was as it should be. Chocolate milkshake was delicious. The plain hamburger was delicious. And even the fries were delicious. This entire place is absolutely met with the best service that there is. And I mean it. Staff is wonderful, caring and generous. Here we have staff that is all of those things I said. Have been there in the past, and the never fail to provide the most wonderful service. Never will I stop coming back here again, because this is...

Online order. Went there for the Peanut Butter and Bacon Double Cheeseburger, the Peanut Butter and Bacon Shake, some tots, some chicken fingers, and 2 limeades.

The service encounter was mostly friendly and positive but a little... strange. "I like the color scheme of your car but not the car itself" was an interesting choice of comment from the server. LOL. He did run back in to grab me a drink carrier since the app wouldn't let me tick that checkbox for some reason. That was much appreciated.

The Peanut Butter and Bacon Double Cheeseburger was super light on the PB and definitely not a distinguishable flavor for a component listed in the title. The tots were fine. The chicken fingers were fine. The cherry limeade and the strawberry limeade were both okay (but not as big a hit as usual.) When we got to the end of the drinks, we noticed that the lime wedges hadn't been squeezed into the drink before being dropped in (which would account for the flavors being a bit off.) Also, the maraschino cherries in the cherry limeade were absolute mush and tasted like they'd gone a bit over.
