We had a great visit to the area. We do need to mention our experience at Madison Avenue Market. We browsed the store and purchased a jar of preserves marked $5.95. We used a credit card for the purchase, and when we got back to rental home and looked at receipt we noticed we were charged $15.95 for the preserves?? We went back to the store and same clerk smiled and said “expensive jelly”. Another lady, maybe the owner, went to register and gave us $10.00 cash, with no remark! My sister, niece and I participated in the Sip & Shop event on May 12 and it was fantastic! I’m not sure what they expected for the first time but I sure hope they do it again. I bought things and visited stores I don’t usually shop at. It was a fun event and I will recommend it to everyone next time!
