Within Things — Local services in Sturgeon Bay

Probably the best music store I've visited since the Exclusive Company disappeared...they've got a really eclectic selection, including a ton of obscure but amazing international and underground artists. You have to dig through the bins, as they're not organized in any traditional sense. Nor will you find the most popular, hot sellers. No, you'll find great stuff that you never knew about, but won't be able to live without. The owners know a lot about their product as well, and can offer some great insight into the records.

...and that's not even mentioning the electic books, arts, and crafts that are also around. Within Things is such a cool shop that I find myself coming back simply because I don't know what I'll discover on...

I stopped in for the first time yesterday and was amazed by the collections of unusual and eclectic items throughout the shop. Every wall and surface space was beautifully arranged and I completely enjoyed browsing slowly-just taking it all in. I purchased a stunning New Mexico print, some beeswax candles, a handmade raven banner and a small black broom.I felt the prices were very fair and came away satisfied that I got got my money's worth and then some. The owners were kind, friendly and helpful. I have no doubt this will be one of my favorite shops in all of Door County and thankfully I live right in Sturgeon Bay, making this a place I will come back to time...

Excellent place to browse for special treasures. I had so much fun looking at all the unusual books and records. I took home a fantastic bluegrass record from Appalachia. It was unopened and recorded in 1977. A great LP for only $5. Sweet! We also bought a cool wall hanging made of old postcards. I believe one of the owners makes them. I really wanted the Radio Flyer wagon, but afford it today. It was reasonably priced. In fact, I found everything in the shop to be value priced.
