We stopped on the recommendation of a friend that there was "really good food". I think the food we had confirms my friend has quite poor taste. We were overall underwhelmed. The hamburgers were overcooked, dry, flavorless, and the buns were dry as well. The fish sandwich was also very dry and bland. The chicken sandwich was ok. All the fried food (fries, cheese, rings, and poppers) were what I'd expect as typical, unremarkable bar food. If we were talking about the food, only, this would be a 3 star review. However, due to the 'gentleman' that was overbearingly loud, using excessive cursing and obscenities with every other word...and the bartender almost encouraging the behavior we most assuredly will NOT ever return. You'll get better value from Culver's on 42/57 without the hassles of parking, cash only, and asinine customers.

I recently visited the Red Room and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, with a juke box and warm lighting. The menu had a great selection of classic pub fare, as well as some more unique and creative options. I particularly enjoyed the cheese burger, which was perfectly cooked and accompanied by delicious sauteed onions. The cup of chili was delicious as well. The service was also top-notch - our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations and answering any questions we had. Overall, I would highly recommend the Red Room Bar and Grill to anyone looking for a casual dining experience.

From the outside of the restaurant you would think that you're walking into a liquor store. Go inside in your impressed with the old school dive bar feel yet very clean atmosphere. We sat at the bar and ordered our drinks and food. The one waitress that was working the whole bar was the sweetest girl ever. Working very hard to making sure every customer is satisfied. We ordered the specialty Burger which is on Texas toast with grilled onions... In addition to ordering the door county specialty which has French fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, cheese curds, and fried mushrooms. This is probably the best burger I've ever had in my whole life! Who would have thought Texas toast would go so amazingly as a bun of a burger. The door county specialty was also amazing so glad we had a chance to try every one of these unique fried foods with so much flavor. If you're ever in door county this is a must to stop at the Red Room. Will definitely come...

I am a local customer in SB and have been going regularly to the Red Room for 47 years. I have never been so publicly embarrassed and humiliated in my life by one of the owners of this establishment. I mistakenly directed my $7 or $8 lunch tip to be delivered to the female bar maid/server instead of the owner who had served my orders. He took exception to my direction to where I wanted my tip to go and made it clear that he was visibly irritated at my innocent mistake. After I finished lunch I tracked him down outside where he was sulking and offered him his cash tip as well which he vehemently denied and refused to take. Why would I want to ever go back into this bar and give them any additional business? He lost a customer for life over a $7.00 misdirected tip. I hope he feels justified by his childish and...
