The Clothing Exchange — Local services in Sullivan

I took some very nice clothes here to sell. The lady did not give me any kind of receipt. I took in 3 men’s suits, 2 prom dresses, 1 mother of the bride style dress, 1 pair of women’s shoes, 1 pair of men’s shoes, a women’s 2-piece outfit, and some women’s Chico clothes. Everything was in excellent condition. When I went in to see if anything sold, the lady would check the computer and tell me how much money I had coming. In all, I received less than $10 total. When I questioned her, she denied that I had brought all these things in and since she never gave me a receipt, I had no way of proving it. I was also told she had to donate one of the prom dresses because a customer had ripped it trying it on. The lady never could tell me exactly what had sold. Trust your customers know how to read a sign on the time you close. I went in 15 minutes before they close looking for one thing. Was told when I walked in we close in 15 minutes. And was told several times how soon they close. I did end up finding what I need, however I didn't end up buying it because I felt that it was rude to keep telling customers what time you close. Went into the exchange had been in there about 6 mins looking around ready to spend some money and I was told sorry we are closed we close at 5 very rudely ! I looked at my phone for the time and it was 447 so I guess they are not concerned with customer service or making money. Very rude very very rude won't be going back and won't recommend this store...
