This was my second time visiting this restaurant. First time was a few years ago and left a lot to be desired but every place has their off days. I did visit there today and all was going well until my food came out. I ordered a burrito fajita. No where in the description did I read that it was covered in red sauce and yes I did read the description because it came with guacamole and I asked for them to keep that seeing how I will not eat it, no sense in wasting it. It came out covered/smothered in red sauce and I asked if this was a fajita burrito and he said yes. I said well I didn't see that it comes with this sauce on it and he insisted this was how it comes. I said okay cool than I will pay for it but I am not eating it. He asked if I wanted a box and I said no, no one in my house will eat this. I than asked for a menu just to verify what the description was of the food I ordered. He said forget he will pay for it just pay for the queso which I did. Upon looking at the menu available on Google which is a bit out dated as far as prices are concerned and looking on Facebook the description of the food I ordered infact did not have red sauce. My point was this gentleman was fine with the fact that the food was wrong and me paying for food I was not going to consume. I was only willing to pay for it in the first place because maybe I did miss this ingredient in the description. Do better! People make mistakes and that's fine just owe the mistake. This is not good business. I hope I am the only one with this issue and this was just...
Read moreI don’t know what’s better…the food or the service!!!!! Y’all I almost hate to leave a five star review…because I want to keep this gem to myself, but I promise y’all…they earned it! My husband and I went in a couple days ago…we were a little skeptical- as we had tried the other Mexican restaurant here in Sullivan, El Nopal…WE WERE BLOWN AWAY!!!! They staff was incredibly friendly! We can’t remember the last time we have received such incredible service! We ordered the street tacos, one steak, one el pastor, and the carnitas…and a side of beans and rice.Y’all…we sat there in complete silence because we couldn’t stop eating! We haven’t had Mexican that delicious and authentic since we were in El Paso. We have literally come back three nights in a row because we could not stop talking about those tacos. We’ll post more reviews once we try more things…but idk if we can. The street tacos are addictive and should come with a warning…saying you might daydream about them constantly. Honestly, the service is just as excellent. We felt warm and invited, like we’d been eating there forever, or like we had been invited to someone’s home who put all their love and affection into...
Read moreWe came here last night and it was great!!! All the flavors were there for the food but the service was kind of slow. We waited about 25 minutes before we got our food. I think because it was a little bit busier for a Friday night, the back of the house was swamped with orders. The waitresses and waiter were great with making sure we had chips and salsa on the table as well as our drinks filled. The only thing is we were never brought out waters. Other than that everything tasted amazing. My friend said those were the best beans he'd ever had. My boyfriends Burrito Carne Asada had the best white Queso sauce. I love Mexican rice and it was full of flavor. The carne Asada tacos tasted like your typical taco truck street tacos, which is delicious. Also it was National Taco Day so they gave me a free taco when you order 3. Alma was a great waitress. Aside from the fact maybe we were just so hungry and the cooks were taking long, everything was great!!! This is a great spot to come visit when you're around this area!!!
For my boyfriends and I check we got: 3 Modelo's, large strawberry margarita, 3 carne Asada tacos, side of Mexican rice, and Burrito Carne Asada came out to...
