I will never return to Toy Division after my highly unpleasant experience. I took my two children inside. Both of them were playing with the toys on the shelves. They were told, “ This is not a playground.” And the man who worked there also took the little car my daughter was playing with.
I told the man that we had purchased a toy the last time we came in, and his response was “ Yeah, and it took you over an hour to buy it.” When my children asked me why we couldn’t play with the toys, I told them, “ Because it’s a toy store for adults.” When the man heard me say that, he told us to leave the store.
Overall, the man was quite rude. Why have a toy store if you are not going to let children interact with the toys?
Now, every time my daughter walks past the store, she says, “That’s the place that doesn’t want me to go inside. My daughter has autism and I feel that the man working there was not accepting and was not even tolerant of her. I live in Maplewood and Toy Division also has a store there. I will not be going...

The staff was wonderful and assisted me whenever I needed help as I was looking around the store. The atmosphere was wonderful and the wide variety of unique toys were wonderful and I had so many choices to choose from. I genuinely did enjoy looking at the big wall of blind boxes! There were so many choices, but I did enjoy buying the smiskis. =)...
