So, we used to love the place that was in this spot before... Until it stopped tasting quite so fresh and delicious. This new place has the other beat in its glory days. So fresh, so fabulousa, charming, kind people who encouraged my attempts at Spanish. Salvadorian food with a yummy Salvadorian flare. We had the chicken sopes. We tend to like it because of the salad with a twist vibe. Crispy corn patty with raised edges make the salad bowl. This sopes was extra delicious .Our second dish was pumpkin pupusa. So fresh and yummy! Cheese baked between pita-like corn layers, sace, shredded pumpkin, and ? The wall mural sign says the secret ingredient is love I felt it for sure! "No." Maybe chocolate?" It was the closest taste we could come up with..Maybe they are cousins. Anyway, it was absolutely lovely-- the whole experience-- a mini travel to El Salvador. We will be back to try the other tasty-looking...
Read moreCame here on a Friday late afternoon to pick up dinner to go with my husband, this was our first time and we were not disappointed! We ordered a couple of things to try but we were pleasantly surprised with the pasteles de pollo and yuca frita con pescaditos~ we received them hot and devoured one each on the way home.
Service was great—we had some ordering troubles at the counter but the ladies quickly assisted and made sure we got our orders correctly. It took about 20~ mins for the food to be completed (for 4 items) so if you plan to order for a family or its super busy it may take longer.
Will definitely return...

The pollo guisado chicken stew was a pleasant surprise (we never had this dish before and didn’t know what to expect). Their corn tortillas were much thicker than Mexican ones. The pupusas were very delicious as well. The plates were a bit pricey (over $20 for a lunch). Serving staff were sweet and friendly. We would come back again to try the big Salvadoran plate that has everything Salvadoran and is enough...
