After 52 years absence of flying RC I decided to get back into the sport again. While flying my Sport Cub S at Markham Park I was talking to a few people there and mentioned that I bought my grandson and RC airplane (F4F Wildcat) and I was having difficulty binding the planes Safe Mode / AS3X mode. From our conversation it was suggested that my Spektrum DX5e transmitter might not be a suitable match. They indicated that I probably needed a six channel transmitter. I decided then I had to buy a new transmitter and mentioned that I was sorry that there weren’t any hobby shops in our area. They told me about Hobby Glades right here in Weston. I said great, fantastic, I drove from Markham Park right to Hobby Glades. My first impression of Hobby Glades was that it was a little small. When I walked in, I was met by the owner Ariel, I was greeted with a warm and friendly handshake. I told him what my problem was with binding my grandsons’ airplane. Ariel agreed that the five channel transmitter may not be the best match for that airplane’s receiver. He suggested a Spektrum DX6e would meet the needs of that aircraft. I purchased the Transmitter. Ariel told me if I have any difficulties binding the transmitter to the aircraft, bringing the plane in and his associate and friend Armando will see to it that everything works as it should. Making a long story short I brought the airplane in and Armando reprogramed the receiver and then bound it to the transmitter. I was able to give the airplane and transmitter to my grandson on his birthday, the next day. We flew it, I was very impressed, and my grandson said this was the best gift ever. This would not have been possible without Hobby Glades, Ariel and Armando, thank you! Since then I have purchased a couple more aircraft and parts and I know there will be more in the future. Don’t let the size of Hobby Glades fool you, Hobby Glades has a remarkable inventory and if it’s not in stock they will have it for you in just a few days. Aside from RC aircraft they also have RC boats, RC cars, RC...

Ariel was very helpful and never rushed us to purchase anything and leave his store but instead took over an hour with us showing my boys everything before we even spent $1 in his store. If you want great customer service and deal with a hobby store that cares about there customers then Hobby Glades is the place to go for sure 100%. You are making a mistake if you go elsewhere. Did I even mention he was cheaper then the other stores in the area too. That was just a bonus.    Read moreCustomer Service = Excellent I visited a few other hobby stores locally and wish I had tried Hobby Glades first. I called Hobby Glades to inquire about product availability. Ariel answered and was very patient and helped me. I decided to visit the store and was warmly welcomed by Ariel. Once inside the store, I told Ariel what I was looking to do and he was very patient. Ariel showed me my options and after I selected what I wanted, he walked me through setting up my boat and gave me a tutorial on how to use my new ProBoat. Ariel's patience for a person new to the RC hobby and his customer service has resulted in Ariel having a customer for life. I even cancelled an entire order I had with Traxxas online and asked Ariel to order the stuff for me so that I could give him the business and support my local hobby shop. ...
