All About Empanadas — Restaurant in Sunrise

Just discovered this place today. The empanadas were actually delicious, but the employee was not wearing a mask and it is a very small enclosed indoor space. I should have left without ordering but I think I was in shock because I'm used to people wearing masks indoors. I won't be back unless they change that policy. (Editing: thank you for the response. I am glad to hear that your employees are all vaccinated! I’m not concerned with what the governor wants or what other customers do - obviously, if they are actively eating, they will not be wearing a mask. But, CDC does currently recommend masks even for vaccinated people in indoor, closed spaces, especially where the Delta variant is rampant and community spread is high, which is the case here in Florida. This place is truly a gem! I am from Argentina and have very high expectations when it comes to an empanada. I have to say that everything about this joint exceeded my expectations. My husband and I both got the combo special (4 empanadas any style you want, a drink and two dips) we tried all different styles and honestly one was better than the other. My absolute favorites were the matambre and the tucumana. If you’re around the area you must try this place. I cannot end this review without mentioning that the owner of the place gives you 5 star customer service. While we were waiting, he sent my husband and I a complimentary empanada as well as 2 cups of sangria. He made sure to ask how we were doing and treated everyone around with respect. I used to love All About Empanadas. But they changed to a completely different restaurant with a completely different menu, but left the Google page the same so they could keep all the good reviews from the previous business. That was a scummy move. This is now a generic cafe type place with a predictable menu and forgettable flavors. If you want a place that specializes in all sorts of interesting empanadas, you'll have to go somewhere else, because this ain't it anymore. I don't know why they'd even make this change, they were special because of the fact that they had unique empanadas.
