I decided to try this gelato spot after seeing it highly ranked and all over social media. My husband and I first visited on a weekend and were shocked with how packed and overwhelming it was — the gelato was delicious, but the experience was confusing. The line was long, and we didn’t realize you have to pay first before ordering. There were no clear signs, and better communication would have helped. They should have a clear, noticeable sign explaining that you need to make the line to pay first before ordering. On our first visit, we spent the whole time standing in front of the gelato case, looking at the flavors, completely unaware that we were supposed to pay first. It left us feeling a bit awkward and confused, especially since no one explained the process until much later.
We decided to give it another try today when it wasn’t busy at all. Unfortunately, the service was still disappointing. We stood at the cash register for almost 10 minutes with two employees present — an older lady and a gentleman. We were not greeted, acknowledged, or helped during that time. Then another couple walked in, and one of the workers immediately helped them, offering flavor samples and conversation, while we continued to be ignored.
While the gelato itself is very delicious, the service we received on both occasions were very poor. After giving it a second chance and having the same experience, I unfortunately wont...
Read moreI’m so glad we discovered Delicious by Carlotta this morning—it’s a gem we’ll definitely be visiting again! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with plenty of space to sit back and enjoy breakfast, lunch, or even a lighter treat like gelato or coffee.
We tried a variety of dishes: a ham, tomato, and cheese sandwich; a roast beef and cheese sandwich; and a Parma and burrata sandwich. We also indulged in a pistachio croissant, which was perfect for sharing. To drink, we had a cappuccino, a coconut shake, and a mango shake.
True to its name, everything was absolutely delicious! The sandwiches were simple yet packed with flavor, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The pistachio croissant was a standout—light, flaky, and generously filled with creamy, not-too-sweet pistachio goodness which tasted like actual pistachios. My son loved his shake so much that he had to grab a second before we left.
The owners were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which added to the charm of this place. They made our visit even more special, offering us a sample of their award-winning panettone while we ate. Needless to say, we couldn’t resist bringing one home!
We very much enjoyed Delicious by Carlotta and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this place—it’s...
Read moreHave been going to Gelato for the past 3 months. Although expensive the gelatos are good and the variety splendid. The one star is for the customer service. Inconsistent, they change their rules every time we go and today was no different. After waiting in line for 10 minutes while the server helped a couple that had 4 orders, the server turned to me for my order. As I started to ask for my order, he stopped me and informed me that I needed to purchase at the register first and then I could order. No problem, the only thing was that one family was paying and another waiting in line to pay. When I asked the server, who was not helping another customer, if I would need to wait until those 2 families are served he simply said Yes. Mind you, the same server who saw me come in, the same server who just 5 minutes ago told me “sorry for the wait, I’ll be right with you” now is stopping me as I start ordering and tells me I need to pay first and wait in line behind the 2 families that have come in after I arrived. The ice cream may be good but not that good to put up with unprofessional service. Will not be back. We stopped off at Chill’N on Weston Rd and has 3 ice creams for us at a much less expensive price with perfect service and...
