Firehouse Subs Weston — Restaurant in Sunrise

Update - 4/17/24 I vowed to never go to this firehouse again. However my buddy wanted to give them a chance since we love the franchise. The staff here made a wonderful 180 degree turn and it's one of the best firehouse subs around.

I have updatedy review to reflect the changes. Keep up the great work!

Update - 2/27/19 I went back to this firehouse subs because I love brand, I love the fact that it was founded by and support firefighters and those who risk their lives.

that being said the high standard that I have experienced and expect from most firehouse subs does not exist at this franchise. We waited over 35 minutes before our food arrived, and there were only 4 people in the restaurant for the previous 20+ minutes.

They appear to prioritize online orders first, every single patron who sat in the establishment waited much longer than expected.

I was originally quoted from the receptionist that it would take 20 minutes before the sub would be completed, but it did take much longer than that and my friend received his sub 15 minutes after mine...and had to take it to go since we had to go back to work.

While we were waiting there even was a woman who arrived who for 10 minutes ranted how the last 3 times she ordered a sub it was all wrong. and it took them this length of time to give her a replacement.

This specific store has not destroyed my opinion of the brand but I will never go back to the store in weston and I dont see how anyone else who has been there would. That being said since I have been to multiple FHS in the past I know this one shop is not the norm, and its so over the top bad that people who never had FHS that would go to this store would never go back to a FHS ever.

Fix your staff issues, find a balance between online orders and those in store, and recognize that the staff working have 0 sense of urgency or understanding on how to make sandwiches.

12/2018 Food is great but the service was an issue. We went there for a take out option but waited 27 minutes for our sandwich. There were 4 people working and only 1 guy who knew what to do. The facility was clean and pleasant but I hope they train the newer staff on how to properly...

I am visiting from ohio and this was close to our hotel and after over 20 hours on the road we just wanted food. The first greeting we got when we walked into the building was "we are closed" to where I was like um your not closed until 10pm according to your sign. He said I'm sorry I thought it was sunday. So we went in and ordered. We have firehouse subs in ohio and we love it. Food is always good. Well same for this one. Food was good except they for got most of the toppings on my wife's sub and the place was super untidy. The floors were not clean things just didnt look tidy in there. It also had a weird smell. Like I said food is good just very dissapointed in service and how the place looked. Every firehouse I have been to has always looked brand new even when they are not. Hope you guys can turn it around and change the look to what firehouse...

I don’t understand why I can’t post pictures. I ordered a veggie sub online for pick up. The exact verbiage is “onions, bell peppers, and mushroom, etc” so we can all see that onions is not included with the word mushroom. I selected no mayonnaise, no tomato, no sautéed onions. I check my order in the car and the sandwich has no mushrooms. He goes on to explain when you say no sautéed onions that means no mushrooms. NOWHERE does it say no sautéed onions/mushrooms nor is there even an option for no mushrooms. I was in the wrong with my attitude but this does not make any sense, how is the consumer supposed to know that’s what that means. It is not clear at all. The sandwich also had NO deli mustard, and NO picke (which I did not take off). Overall this was a horrible experience and I will not be coming back to...
