My recent visit to the dog park was incredibly disappointing, and I want to share my dissatisfaction. Upon arrival, we were informed by a park employee that we needed a membership to enter. When we approached a fellow park visitor for more information, they responded rudely and directed us to obtain the membership elsewhere.
The disrespectful behavior of this visitor and the lack of support from the employee ruined our experience. We expected friendly treatment and clear guidance, but instead encountered hostility and a lack of willingness to assist.
It is important for park staff to maintain professionalism, and for visitors to show respect towards one another. Everyone should be able to enjoy the dog park in a friendly and welcoming environment.
In summary, my visit to this dog park was overshadowed by a rude employee and a disrespectful park visitor. I hope steps are taken to improve visitor interactions and promote a friendlier atmosphere...
Read moreThis place is fantastic! Compared to other dog parks (especially the ones in Miami Beach) it is cleaner, bigger, and the guests are friendlier. There are three areas for dogs over 35lb (which is massive), under 35 lb, and under 15lb (for what they call "Baby Barkhams"). Best time to bring your dogs depends on whether you prefer lots of company or not. Usually, during weekdays, it is pretty empty until around 4pm where people start showing up. On the weekends it is mostly busy throughout the day, peaking in population @ 3-5pm. If you have a shy dog, bring them during busy hours. Being with other dogs will help with their anxiety quite a lot. You do need to get a membership card to access the park but it is very cheap ($25 for a year and you can bring up to 3 dogs at a time) and it helps them keep the park clean. Once a week they bring tennis balls for the dogs to play with too. My 2 dogs absolutely...
