I went to the nail salon for the first time last week and was very impressed by the interior design. Amy was my nail technician and did a great job on my nails. Unfortunately, I had to go back sooner then expected because the gel on my nails started peeling 3 days after getting them done. So when I called and explained my situation Amy so happened to be the one that answered and we made an appointment for the next day...which was today. Not only did she take her time on fixing my nails, but she took all the polish off all my nails even tho it was only about 3 that were peeling. She noticed my pinky nail was cracked and fixed that as well. She gave me a fresh set and actually cared unlike a lot of nail technicians in Harrisburg. So about halfway through I decided to get a pedicure too since they weren’t busy. Hands down...best pedicure I’ve had in years!! I was also offered a beverage which was nice. The only thing I would say is that they don’t have many gel colors to choose from (in my opinion). This is a brand new salon so that’s understandable and won’t stop me from coming either way. Read moreLet me first say that if I could the would be no stars. I went in for a manicure without polish and at first I was happy since I was a walk in and they took me right away. That’s where all the positive ends because the nail tech ignored me when I told her there was a problem. Some of the problems encountered were her speaking to the tech next to her and told her they were going to sand my nails down and I told her no. She then went and tried to do it anyway so I pulled my hands and told her no go. I told the tech that my nails are uneven on both hands and she decided to keep filing my nails down to a point that can be fixed even though I kept explaining to her what the problem was. The manager was a joke who looked at my nails and told me that they were not uneven (even though most of my nails had jagged edges in addition to the uneven nails.) Lastly I told the tech that I didn’t want any polish put in my nails yet she asked me several times to choose a color. Read moreI walked in at 12:30pm. I asked to get a full set of Acrylic and was seated right away. I wanted a simple gray color with sparkles on one nail and a snowflake on another nail. I showed the man the design and asked if he could do it and he said yes. It took him almost an hour just to put the nails on a file them. Then came time for the design. He kept messing up and so I asked if he wanted me to just do a solid color and he said no. Then he cut me. It was by accident but still hurt really bad. He clearly was practicing on me. So I look at the clock and it’s now 1:40pm. I finally said I want someone else to finish my nails. So the lady owner finished my nails. I paid and left. Not even 3 minutes after I left I went to run my fingers through my hair and one of the nails had lifted. I went back and asked for the nails to be fixed and the owner said she would just soak the nails off and give me a refund. She didn’t even soak off the acrylic fully.
