I stopped in today for lunch around 245. I am try to eat healthier and do not typically go for burgers / cheesteaks etc, but I was pressed for time and needed food quickly. I ordered a smash burger and fries, and it was ready SUPER FAST. I went to my truck across the street, opened the bag, and found a cute lottle box that my food was in. Nice. When I opened the box I was really blown away. The fries were crinkle cut, HOT, and jist the right amount of crispy, but the burger, oh, the burger!...It was BIG, hot, juicy and perfect. I am not a tomato fan, but I asked for them anyway, because well, eat some veggies, right? I usually pick them off of sandwiches after ordering because they are typically pale, half ripe, garbage. This tomato was freaking RED and wonderful. The lettuce - crisp, the burger sauce? Shut up! And the pickles - yeah, they use the right ones, dont worry, ya'll I paid 12 bucks for one of the best burgers and fries I have had in this city. I would happily pay more, again and again. The staff was super friendly, and the shop was exactly what I expected to see. Clean, friendly, and GOOD food, that was cheap? My goodness. I sing the praises of Bodega Food Co. and you should too, Harrisburg. Go support this place and help keep them in our community.
