Absolutely Outstanding First Visit – Ask for Austin!
I recently visited Big Peach Running Co. in Suwanee, GA for the very first time, and from the moment I walked in, I was blown away — not only by the selection of running shoes and apparel, but by the exceptional service I received from a gentleman named Austin.
Austin took the time — and I mean real time — to walk me through the entire process of selecting the right shoes. He patiently evaluated what worked for me, what didn’t, and never rushed or pressured me into a decision. His knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care for making sure I left with the right fit made a lasting impression.
On top of that, I was thrilled to learn about their incredible return policy and even more impressed that they offer a shoe recycling program, allowing me to responsibly dispose of my worn-out running shoes while receiving a discount on my new pair. That’s the kind of business ethic I can fully support.
Austin is a true asset to the Big Peach brand — the kind of employee who doesn’t just work for a company, but truly represents it. If there’s ever such a thing as a franchise opportunity, this is the guy you give it to. He reflects the values, service, and quality that make a store like this stand out.
Highly recommend Big Peach Running Co. in Suwanee — and if you want world-class service, make sure you...
Read moreIf you buy your running shoes anywhere else, you might be insane. Big Peach has competitive pricing (no, they probably are not going to beat Amazon) but what sets them apart is their return policy. If you are a runner (or active in general), you know how shoes can be hit or miss for comfort, and no one wants to pay $150-200 for running shoes to discover they don't work after a few weeks. Big Peach will return or exchange them if that happens. You may save $20 on Amazon, but if those shoes still give you maddening blisters after the break in period, Amazon isn't going to take them back. Big Peach will. With a smile. And then assist you in finding a better shoe. They are also super active in the community, hosting group runs a couple times a week. I will say one negative that cost them a star... I noticed a job posting on their front door for $10-12/hr for associates. While wage transparency is good (kudos for not wanting anyone's time), pay your people a living wage, Big Peach. They work hard, are delightful to work with, and are knowledgeable. You're as good as your people. If you pay LESS than a McDonald's drive thru worker, you're not going to keep getting...
Read moreVery Extremely disappointed by the customer service tonight. The tall young man that was “helping” me tonight acted sooo put out with doing his job tonight. I would ask for a size and color. He would bring my size but not the color and he would leave me so he could go in the back to chat. I was the ONLY customer in the store. It was so bad that I thought it must be closing time because he seems so annoyed that I’m shopping for shoes. So I asked he said no they would be closing at 8 it was 7:20 but he said WE are working towards closing so in other words he wanted me out of there. When I asked for help in finding a good running shoe he asked what do I normally run, I said I’m running a 5k this Sunday & need shoes. He said OH so not far at all… ok that is far for me.. no need to belittle me. He then went to talk to female worker complaining about how he was in trouble at work for leaving something out… well sir you are clearly a bad employee I know I’m an old female running 5ks not marathons but i matter too as a customer. I just wish people would care...
