I have an HP Envy 360 Notebook laptop with a touch screen that cracked in several locations. My laptop is a couple years old and I was not ready to buy a new one so I decided to look into repairing this one. I checked several big box stores and they each had a similar price with a THREE WEEK turn-around. I cannot live without my computer that long so I had just been very carefully dealing with the cracked screen until Spacebar posted in a FB group that I follow. I decided to look into this place because I always try to support local and WOW... I am so glad I did! I spoke with the owner directly who was very friendly and responded quickly. He texted me (I am a big fan of texting) to set up a time to bring my laptop in once the new screen arrived. It was later in the day on a Friday and he said he would need up-to 48hrs to complete the repair and I could come by on Monday. Read moreI have turned to Gabe at Spacebar in the past and he has worked miracles. So just two weeks ago I needed to turn to him again and I feel like I struck GOLD when I found him. This time I could not connect to the Wifi from my business and no matter what I tried, I couldn't solve it. Neither could my cable company. Gabe came right over and immediately identified the problem and fixed it (along with a few others I was having). But he didn't stop there! We talked about how high my cable bill was (crushing!!!) and I said I knew there were other ways to bring it down but it was way beyond my technical expertise. He promised he could cut my bill in half and he did!! Grateful doesn't begin to say how I feel about what Gabe has been able to do for me and my business. Read moreI was having some problems using a new app on my MacBook Air. Apple Support tactfully suggested that it would help to update from my 2015 operating system. I’m not very tech-savvy, so I was afraid that I would lose applications or files if I did it myself! I called Gabe, rather than risk either of those outcomes. From my first phone call inquiry, he was reassuring and helpful. Gabe indicated he would check the appropriate system update for my computer and he made sure to ask me about my back up procedures, also reminding me of options.
When I made an appointment to drop off my computer Gabe was there on time and checked carefully again about what I wanted done. A couple days later, my computer was ready and all updated. Yay! The new operating system was working well and all my files and applications were there. Gabe provided a final touch by checking back with me a couple days later to see if everything was working well.
