This was one of the worst pies I’ve ever had. No joke, I’ve had many frozen pizzas better than this and for 5% of the wait. I waited 90 minutes for this pie. There was no sauce on the pie. The crust was doughy for a thin style, which I actually asked for ā€œwell doneā€ to ensure crispiness. The cheese was extra salty. There was no redeeming quality to this pizza. I gave it away after two slices it was so bad. The people working behind the counter had no idea what they were doing and continuously left the ovens open as they couldn’t figure out what pie was ready. They also handled the pizzas with their bare hands, which I’m pretty sure is a Food and Safety violation. Overall, it makes sense that the locals would appreciate this since they have absolutely no reference to what is actually a quality pizza place. I’m certainly glad I don’t live here. Score: 1.2 out of 10 - garbage.

J&Gs is one of my all time favorite pizza places! I remember walking over, during after Friday night football games at Northview high school, to go in together for a pizza with friends. You know when you go on vacation and want go to a restaurant that you can't go to in pretty much any town/city? This is one of those little town Gems that you want to visit if you are in the area! While I HIGHLY recommend the House special (minus mushrooms, my preference) the Gyros here are the ONLY ones I'll eat. I've tried them elsewhere and none have even come close. I am sharing pics but be warned they were all already dug into as soon as they hit the countertop lol so the pictures will do them justice... Did I also mention we had to drive 30 mins 1 way to get them so they were not as "piping hot" as they could be if we lived closer.

Great local pizza place! Went for the first time but we will go again. Loved the decor inside the restaurant. Made me think of pizza places when I was young. We had a 1/2 mushroom 1/2 pepperoni pizza that was good. Arrived quickly and was piping hot. Different kind of crust than I’m used to but very good. We also got an order of garlic cheese bread which was on the small size to share but again delicious and loaded with cheese and lastly our favorite, the fried pepperoni appetizer! Seems simple but they were exceptional! Dusted with Parmesan and accompanied by three different dipping sauces with the feta dip being the best. Service was excellent. Friendly and attentive wait staff and everyone wished us a pleasant evening and thanks for coming as we left. Wish I would have known about this place sooner.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My wife and I along with one of our friends went in to grab dinner and as soon as we walked in the experience was horrible. The waitress had an attitude from the beginning. My wife and our close friend decided to split a pizza and I decided to order a chicken gyro platter with fries. What came out was black burnt chicken and instead of fries I received garlic bread. I literally ate 2 pieces of the 16 piece gyro platter that the waitress made sure she announced as we were leaving. My friend tried one piece of the chicken and as a cook of 15 years he said it was horrible and my wife tried a piece as well. I put the platter at the end of the table and waited for the waitress to get the bill and she asked if I wanted the cook to remake it. Obviously if he or she can’t make it the first time then I’m out. So I asked for my bill and of course I got charged the full $18.00 for the platter because the waitress stated I ate half the chicken which obviously I didn’t. So when my wife said something she got very aggressive and almost acted like she wanted to fight my wife which I wouldn’t let happen but she continued to run her mouth in the middle of the restaurant. Ive been a business man for 24 years that’s ran multiple million dollar businesses. I would fire this person on the spot as a manager as she doesn’t belong in customer service. The owners may need to evaluate their employees. She was absolutely outright horrible and rude. I will spread the word to everyone I am affiliated with not to waste there time nor money. First time here and last...

We’ve been a few times with two kids and the beer is good, pizza is fine IF cooked well done, and the old room is nostalgic and cool. The big problem is we were given a 30 min wait with 4 adults and 4 kids 5yo and under at 430pm. After waiting 55 minutes we were told if we wanted to order pizza once we were seated it was currently a 1 hour and 45 min wait for pizzas to be made… so pizza would not be an option. We still weren’t seated after 1 hour and 15 minutes and chose to leave as the kids started to break and we couldn’t even order what we came for. The new room is mostly high top tables, so not applicable for a young family which probably didn’t help us get a seat, but the time to get a pizza may be a better explanation. I get wait times are estimates and tables can stay long, but being told an hour in to a half hour wait that pizza isn’t even an option is pretty brutal, especially when you are hearing the hostess tell other groups still arriving the wait is still 30 minutes… There appears to be a problem regarding management of time, orders, and the ability to balance takeout orders with in-house needs. Maybe it’s better with a smaller group? But the pizza wait time would remain unchanged in that scenario as well. I can’t imagine taking the risk of wasting another night in the waiting room or on the street for atmosphere, or being surprised with an almost 2 hour wait for pizza once you’ve already been seated. Hope you have better luck...

I don’t usually write google reviews because honestly my one review isn’t going to change the recent world of food service, but i have felt it is my duty to let you all know that J & G’s Pizza REALLY dropped the ball. I ordered one gyro dinner, a gyro sandwich, and a side of fries. Allow me just start with the gyro sandwiches. First, there was absolutely no lettuce within the sandwich, which i was promised. The pita was soggy and the sauce it came with was far less than desirable. The best way i could describe the sauce is old sour yogurt. Oh, and i will just say that the fries tasted like frozen fries that were heated up in the microwave to the point of burning the styrofoam box.

Let’s move onto the gyro dinner, shall we? Or maybe we shouldn’t because it was so shameful. The rice, which is usually fluffy, was crunchy in spots and completely free of seasoning. The meat was so dry. Desert dry. Heat lamp for 2 hours dry. And let me conclude with the pepperoncini (ya know, the little yellow pepper they give you). Imagine you checked the back alley and found a papa johns pizza box in the dumpster. Grab that poor pepper out of there and slap that in my take out box.

I will conclude my entire review by saying that I haven’t had this gyro meat in 10 years- so i was very excited to order it. Fond memories of well seasoned juicy meat. Fresh pita and veggies. However, after this experience i’d rather wait another 10 years then order...
