Maybe it was our mistake that we went at the height of lunch on a Saturday at this location, so I can't complain about how long it took to get food. The greeter and seater person were quite pleasant. I have zero issue with service for the most part. Our waitress was fine. The food was dismal at best. I ordered an avo-cobb salad. I always leave the egg off because it's gross (personal preference). But the croutons were stale boulders, the tomatoes were horrifically bitter and acidic. The blue cheese they use is the lowest quality blue cheese I've ever tasted. The lettuce was also bitter and definitely not fresh. The pale gross chicken was a super odd texture- like they had to heat it up to cook it safely and then chill it super fast to put it on a salad. I've had this salad before and it was NOT this disgusting. Yeah- veggies are not in season, so that can explain the low quality. But $14 bucks for a crappy salad? Could I have sent it back and refused to eat it? Probably? But with it ramping up to the busiest part of the lunch rush- I knew it wasn't going to be a priority if they couldn't even get my husbands frys put out before they were cold. So I sucked it up. I won't be back to this location. The parking sucks and the bathrooms are filthy and gross.
Back to the service- our waitress was fine. Food was slow (busy time - so okay). My husbands "refill fry" took FOREVER and then it was cold. By then we were just done. BUT the table kiosk to pay was not working so we had to wait for our waitress to be not busy (she was very busy as she had several large tables) so she could take our payment.
Bottom line- this location sucks, even more so during the most busy time on a Saturday. Lesson learned. Also- the salads at RedRobin are not worth the money you pay for them. I don't eat out very often and this is why. I used to love coming to Red Robin. Extremely disappointing. The Federal Way location is a 1000x better. Maybe the franchise should invest more in this location. Since they don't want to waste the servers time by having to take the payments, they should start with the...
Read moreI officially have zero reason to go to Red Robin anymore. After years of decline, in every aspect, quality, prices, and service, they have changed the one item I actually like, but they are very consistent in screwing up your order, so there is some comfort in that. So, my last visit here was quite some time ago, that is how traumatic it was. Our boss decided to buy us lunch, there is about 10 of us, so a pretty big order. The order process alone would not let us order sauces, so some got them, some did not. Apparently, according to the site, 6 sauces is "20" and you can't do that. Whatever. pick up, they go through the list, it appears to match ours. Great. hey can we get extra sauces? NO. Oh, can we pay for extra sauces...NO. Ok. Get the order back to the office. We didn't even get all the sauces we were able to order (within each order) ok. 3 of the orders do NOT match the sticker, or were missing etc. So, the stickers may have matched, but what we got didn't in, and this is epic even for them, 7 out of the 10 orders were wrong in some way or another. I don't think their burgers are that great, so I almost always get a Whiskey River Wrap. It showed, up and I thought for sure it was just part of the mess up (i did not get my ranch for the roughly 5 fries allotted to me) but, I did not look at the menu before ordering, because I get the same thing every time, and they have indeed changed the wrap to a flout tortilla instead of the Green/spinach tortilla. Completely ruined the only thing here i like, besides the ranch, which i didn't get, so yes, once again, a disappointing meal from Red Robin. I am sure the office will forget, and we will order as a group again, and I will probably order something, because, well, it isn't my money. But, if I can avoid it, I am done giving them my money. It is not worth it, by any stretch of the imagination. So perhaps instead of spending millions on bad advertising, put some of that money back into your stores and work on infrastructure, training, updating processes, because whatever this is now, is failing...
Read moreService was beyond poor. 30 minutes to be seated after we were told it would only take 15 mins. Took another 20 mins before we were able to order. Non alcohol beverages took another 15 mins to arrive. This is after we asked at the 10 minute mark if they could at least bring water. Our order was pretty simple. During initial order we asked for some fries to be brought so we could nosh a bit before the main food arrived. The fries never arrived. The main dinner was could and the fries on the plate were about 10 to 15 fries. When the main food arrived we again asked for more fries... They finally showed up after everyone was done eating dinner. The server was not interested in serving tables and would vanish multiple times being gone for 10 minute intervals. He was nice enough to let us know when he took his official break. This is when the service actual improved as his co workers actually helped us and brought us the extra fries we had asked for when we ordered our food. I am embarrassed to say we only tipped him 2 dollars. Red Robin food is barely worth eating and they you throw in poor service... No thank you...
While I appreciate your response I might suggest you start looking into why this particular restaurant is getting such poor reviews. I have looked over your reviews for the last 4 years and there is a drastic downward trend. Even with the mixed results of positive and negative, Red Robin Tacoma management or the company executive team really needs to investigate the culture and clean up...
