Purpose Men — Local services in Tacoma

I've had a desire to find a boutique men's clothing store for some time. They exist but most are a miss. Then there are the online options like stitch fix but I never had luck there and what a pain to try stuff on, hate it and struggle with the return process. I recently moved to the area and while enjoying the waterfront I stopped in and I'm so glad I did. This was the type of place I had been looking for. The apparel is 10/10 but the shop size and friendly and helpful customer service is what stands out. I've grown tired of such large stores and so much to comb through. This shop is perfectly planned out with 2 floors of casual and business cas options. Chloe was my stylist and I couldn't have been happier with the service. Seriously. Chloe was outstanding! She nailed it with the options she pulled for me. I have never had jeans feel perfect on the first try. This place goes above and beyond to help find what you're looking for. Now, the icing on the cake...I had a minor but inconvenient issue with one of my pieces after purchase and they provided world class service that satisfied my situation. That alone is going to keep me coming back to this store to secure my go-to looks. If you're debating stopping by then don't overthink it. Go. I walked into Purpose men's clothing store without a specific, well, purpose. However, two of their employees immediately came over to offer water and/or snacks, to converse in a friendly manner, and to find out what clothing I might be interested in. They came across as interested but not pushy. Their demeanor up to this point was enjoyable, but then the unthinkable happened: they continued to be pleasant and engaging. They flitted about like hummingbirds, grabbing clothes that matched my descriptions of what I liked and possibly needed. Then they ushered me into the dressing room and soon after began an impromptu fashion show. Their commentary on the look and fit of the clothes was insightful, and I ended up having fun and buying a decent amount of clothes. I won't say that I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, but...ok, I'll say it. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. It was a win all the way around: the store made money, the ladies earned a five star review, and I got some nice new clothes that I needed after losing a good amount of weight. I recently visited Purpose Men and had an outstanding shopping experience. I purchased a variety of men's outfits, including shirts, t-shirts, pants, and shoes. The quality of the clothing is excellent, and everything fits perfectly.

They assisted me in finding the best fits and made the entire experience enjoyable with their warm and welcoming demeanor.
