My First time at this theater, We saw Nobuntu & They did not disappoint! Absolutely Amazing Ladies. We were not allowed to take any photos or videos during the performance and that was fine. It was definitely something to experience rather than capture. Parking is Free on Sundays so who hoo! We were greeted and had to do a small check with our bags, scanned our tickets. Bathrooms are downstairs none are upstairs. Ushers were friendly, seating was easy, each row are labeled by alphabet. E-7 So Row E Seat #7 ! Lighting & Sounds were crisp & clear. Exit signs were visible and announced. I had a great time, the audience had a pulse! My only regret was, I was very very hot, very hot it became uncomfortable I had to keep fanning myself. It felt like 100* in there.

We attended the QUEEN revival show with the symphony accompaniment. Brody - the lead singer brought lots of energy and was a very solid Freddie Mercury. He was a hit. The music was very authentic - nobody missed a note. The performance was at the Pantages Theater. It was packed. Everyone stayed after intermission. The crowd really got into it during the second half that had some of Queen’s most famous hits. We’ve been to other Tacoma Arts music shows and guests. Always have a great time for the ones we’ve selected. Well worth it !

We have used the armory's (Tacoma Arts Live) Lincoln room as an event space. It is large enough to seat 12 rounds of 8 with a projector screen, podium, and catering tables. They provide gate security and are very accommodating for your event needs. Akida is always a pleasure to work with along with his a/v team! Be sure to consider the Lincoln room for your next event. 4/5 stars because parking is lame on Yakima Ave just as all parking is in Tacoma.

Saw the Imagine Monet. Super lame. Just one room with a 30 min loop of up close images of his paintings. Since it's impressionism a lot of the works could not be fully appreciated so zoomed in. Not enough seats. Just plastic lawn chairs. The biographical and background information on the screens in the hallway were really poorly written. Looked like AI generated text. The last room and gift shop was a joke. Luckily I got my tickets for free but it was honestly a waste of time. Better to go to a real museum. Was hoping for a bigger space with multiple rooms with different periods of works projected in each one. Instead it's just one looping video. Whole thing feels cheap. It's too bad because the event was sponsored by...
